Thanks everyone, and Deb yup have been sleeping lots. Its some kind of stomach problem.

Theresa how nice of your mom, congrats on the new camera.

You all are the best. :goodvibes I have no idea where this will lead with my sister. I am certainly not looking forward to adding 2 more to this already crazy house but we will if we have to. I sort of knew things were getting out of hand but chose to look the other way because I had to for my own well being. But things came to the point where we can't ignore them any longer. :sad2:

I missed exactly what is going on, but I wish you all the best! pixiedust:

We had a power shopping morning....3 pairs of jeans, 3 bras for Abi and 1 pair of jeans, 1 belt, 1 bra (which is hard to come by at 38DD), a skirt and a dress for Cassidy at ARC for $30:cool1:, at JcPenney's a wonderful tunic for Abi, and nike band pants (pants that appropriate length and comfort for under her uniform and to wear at practices) and cute shirt for Cassidy for $15

We then came home to spend the day with my mom and 2 of her 3 brothers. My grandma was in fine form....guilted one brother into travelling 4+ hours to visit on the day that my mom had something planned without her. I mainly had fun but was glad there was alcohol available...and plenty of it toward the end....I am such an alcoholic:rotfl:

I have finished all of the girls Christmas shopping (yeah, right I will keep adding:rotfl2:) except Disney Dollars. They each are getting a Vera Bradley bag and a special Disney pin and disney dollars. The best part??? I have used Pine Cone money and a gift card to pay for it all:banana: The rest of the family is getting pictures and frames.

Sounds like a very successful day!

For those who are feeling under the weather:hug:

I have the best mom in the world.....On Saturday we were discussing Senior Pics and how I had just had the thought earlier in the week, that I would use the winter to practice and save up for a DSLR and do Senior Pics for people at the cost of a memory card and my time wherever they want....saving them money and allowing them to print whichever poses they want whenever they want.

Well, my mom took me today to buy any DSLR I wanted!!!This was me on the Light Rail , me at Wolf Camera:yay::eek::woohoo: and me now:upsidedow

Wow, that is wonderful. I hope you can make photography work out for you.:cool1:

Our passports officially arrived today :cool1: Another thing off our list

Hi, DDA!

Long time, no talk. I hope everyone is doing well - I have thought of each of you quite often over the past couple of months, and pray that everyone is having a good summer. I imagine there are quite a few either at WDW right now, or getting ready to leave - I hope you're having/will have a fantastic time! :goodvibes

Life here has been interesting as of late, but we are okay for right now. We found out we're having a little boy (his name will be Austin) a few days before Mother's Day, and then did our traveling to WDW and then Kauai after that. My pregnancy was going well, June turned into July...and then things have changed somewhat.

To make a long story short, I've been to L&D two times since right after the July 4th holiday with contractions, and have been restricted to staying at my house at this point. I have been diagnosed with an irritable uterus (who even knew there was such a thing?!), am already about 50% effaced, and am to rest and be off my feet as much as possible, plus no cleaning, lifting, etc. of any kind. There also appears to be a correlation between some of my problems and the motion of a car, so I pretty much can't be driven anywhere (driving myself is out of the picture at this point) except to my OB's office. Additionally, our little boy isn't cooperating and is still in a breech position - there's still hope that he could still turn on his own, but each week that goes by leads me closer and closer to a c-section delivery - not to mention that his positioning likely complicates things further since all of his kicks and movements puts additional pressure on my cervix.

So....all of that to say that I've been busy, and thus away, but not in the ways I woudl have liked or necessarily been expecting at this point of my pregnancy. Unfortunately, all of this began happening at a pretty critical juncture of some home improvements/baby prep we were doing - a lot of it had to be put on hold since I can't do so much, and those things that had to be done, we've had to have a lot of family help in accomplishing. We're getting closer to being ready at this point, and just praying that this little guy will stay put for another month or so. I'll be 33 weeks pregnant tomorrow.

I will try to be around much more often, as I've really missed getting to regularly chat with everyone, and now that things are coming together, I will have more time on my hands - and not much else to do but keep connected with my laptop. I would love to hear what all is going on in everyone else's life - I don't dare ask for a huge recap since it's been so long, but if there's something significant I need to be aware of, be praying for, etc., please let me know!

I hope to chat with you tomorrow. Have sweet dreams, DDA! :cloud9:

Lindsay

Hi Lindsay, it is so good to hear from you! Congratulations on finding out you will be having a boy, love the name Austin :goodvibes I hope things continue to go well for you & Austin stays put a while longer :wizard:

Nothing exciting going on in my life, same old same old lol I am hoping to get a trip in the making for Dec., but money has been really tight this year so we shall see. I just want/need to get away so bad & the boys l\keep asking if we can go this year. Guess taking them every year for the last few has spoiled them a little :rolleyes1

Elizabeth, Anne Marie, Bernadette, & Marci are in Florida now(Marci might be on the cruise), & Tammi will be leaving soon.

Jen is on a Caribbean cruise right now or maybe the Alaskan lol

Elin, Terry, Stephanie, & Becky are getting ready to attend Magic Meets.

Theresa is enjoying a visit from her mother.

Robyn will be having surgery soon & has some family things she is dealing with.

Deb & Chris will be taking a couples only trip to Cancun soon.

Heidi is feeling a little under the weather.

Chanon had her baby shower this past weekend & posted pictures of the babies room, which is just to cute!

Glynis has been busy at home & is ready for school to start so maybe she can get some down time.

Beth has been very busy as well & has not had a lot of time to post.

I am sure there is a lot more, but that is all I can think of at the moment :goodvibes

Hope to see you around here more, we all miss you!

Very good recap of the past week Janet.

:wave2 Lindsay! What a sweet name for your little one. I am hoping to see yo on here more now too. I hope the complications ease up a bit so you and Jonathan can enjoy the next few weeks of couple-dom and look forward to your new lives with your precious addition. I would love to see pictures if you have them. :goodvibes
