Good morning. :)

Single digit dance! :cool1::banana::woohoo::dance3::cheer2:

Tammi - sounds like a wonderful day for you guys! Enjoy the city. :)

I was just telling Robyn that maybe DS and I should fly up some weekend and go to DC. Enjoy your day!!

Yikes, Deb!! That is a crazy situation. Good luck making your way through the day tomorrow. I'm glad several other parents are concerned too!

Deb, I hope you all are able to figure out some alternative activities for the boys!

Walt Disney Co just posted a 26% loss for last quarter. :(

Yikes! :scared1:

Good morning. :)

Single digit dance! :cool1::banana::woohoo::dance3::cheer2:

YAY!!! :dance3:
Single day dance for us! :cool1:

I am just working for an hour this morning - after I take Princess to camp I am finished! DS has 2 theater performaces today. He asked me to enroll him for Fall, so I did that last night. I am pleased that he wants to continue with Improv because he really does have fun with it.

I have a weird piece of hair that is sticking out. I have decided it would be in my best interest to let Landon fix it instead of me whacking it off myself. I am going to him at 12:30.

My paycheck situation while we are gone is going to be wonky, so I have to figure out which bills need to be dragged to FL and snail mailed. :rolleyes: I REALLY miss the direct deposit service my exbosses used. Trying to deal with a paper check from out of state is bad. :sad2: Luckily DH's checks are direct deposit. :thumbsup2

The maintenance guy came up yesterday and fixed our thumping A/C and our magical self-starting toilet. He also changed our air filter. DH said he left us a spare, too, which is good because those filters get dusty in just a few weeks. :)

Happy birthday, Anne Marie and Dana!

Theresa - :hug:

Well, my week is over. I've worked 10 hour days so tomorrow I'm off. We are going to take the train up to DC and do some sightseeing. We are planning on seeing Ford's Theater (where Abe was shot), the Law Enforcement Memorial (I need to get a few etchings), Jefferson and Lincoln monuments, American Art and American History Museums. I hope the rain holds off until late afternoon.

That sounds like a fun day! I hope that your weather is better than ours is right now.

Deb I hope your day is not as crazy as you fear!

Tammi sounds like you have a fun day planned!

Tom sorry to hear about Noah :sad1:

Elizabeth I was going to reply on your TR thread, but it is saying completed :confused3

Anyway I am very excited for you & sad at the same time as I wish we were able to be there with the rest of you.

Have a wonderful time as I know you will :goodvibes

The weather here is horrible. It started pouring rain before 7 am. It is now predicted to continue all day, into the night with some severe thunderstorms along the way. The Adventure day has not been cancelled, but they are going to do it indoors. The coordinator for the Leadership called to let us know, but of course had no specifics as to what they would be doing :headache: I finally got in touch with someone at the facility and they plan to spend about 3 hours "talking and getting to know the kids and maybe play a few games" followed by lunch. If the rain lightens up they "may" be able to do a few things outside, if not then they can put the kayaks into an indoor pool and teach the kids how to properly paddle and do simple rescues. 3 hours of kayaking in a swimming pool :sad2: My kids do not want to go which is fine with me. Nick feels ripped off because he sat through all the boring night classes and now doesn't get a fun ending. What was originally billed as a ropes course and whitewater rafting (which it apparently NEVER was going to be) is really a team building workshop with lots of classroom time. We're very very disappointed in the organization of the program and if it were offered again we would waste our time.

Deb sorry the day was a disappointment for the boys. Does not sound like this was planned out very well!

Elizabeth - I got ready to post something on your PTR and it has been moved to the completed section and I can't post. :(

:wave2: Hi, Beth!

Did you have to pay for this? I don't blame the boys for being disappointed. And I would be very upset with the outcome too.
