I remember those hiccups!!! How thrilling for you. Well, thrilling now. Soon it will become just annoying. And in case you are wondering, holding YOUR breath in an effort to try to get rid of BABY'S hiccuping doesn't work.

Really :lmao:

Chanon, Riley had the hiccups constantly I loved it!

Good morning. :)

Be-Happy-Its-Friday.gif

I am very happy beings I have a 3 day weekend :cool1:

Nothing planned, but that could always change!

We've decided not to go to Santa's Village today. The weather forecast changed from a potential storm at 10 AM to heavy rains through 2 PM :sad2: No point in driving all that way to stand in the rain. Most things would be closed anyway. I'll have to plan to get the boys there another day. We will still be going camping this weekend, but we won't be leaving until Chris gets out at 5 PM. I guess I now have plenty of time to clean my house.:thumbsup2

Well bummer! The weather this summer has been really wonky. The rain I could do without but I will not complain about the cooler temps :thumbsup2

Zazu is doing pretty well - he is eating, drinking, using his litter. Arabella is still being horrible to him. DH said it is like she completely forgot Zazu in the 24 hours he was gone. I have been holding him and petting him to try to get my scent on him, but she hisses and runs if he gets within 6 feet of her! I expected her to hiss when he FIRST came home, but now her behavior seems kind of odd. They played together ALL the time, so I hope she gets used to him again soon.

Glad to hear Zazu is doing well! It will take a little time for Arabella to warm up to him again, cats hate the scent from the vets office!

Saw this elsewhere and I didn't get an email about it. Sorry if you all already knew about it.

New Disney Visa Free Dining Offer! - Disney Visa cardholders booking a special Magic Your Package at a WDW Value Resort can receive the Disney Quick Service Dining Plan FREE! Moderate resort guests and above can get the Regular Dining Plan Free. This offer is limited and valid for travel from 09/27/2009 to 12/17/2009.

Elin, thanks for posting! We did NOT get that e-mail, even though DH and I both have a Disney Visa! Sooooo tempting. :sad2: Airfare is about $200 round trip. I looked at it last night. Sigh. I wonder if the free dining is a better deal than a room discount?

AP room discounts are running about 40% so I think it would take a handy dandy calculator and some time to decide.

Well, for pool view at AKL the AP rate would be a little higher than rack rate minus the cost of the DDP for the 3 of us. Hmmmm. :rolleyes1

Is there a code listed? I just looked at the Chase site and I can't find it.

I don't see it on the Chase site either. But I have read that people have been booking it for a little while now. I would call CRO and ask!

From Mousesavers:

To qualify, you must purchase a vacation package that includes at least 3 consecutive hotel nights at an official Walt Disney World resort, plus at least a one-day theme park ticket. You must use your Disney Rewards Visa to book and pay for the package.

With this offer:

*

If you stay in a Disney Value resort, you get the Magic Your Way Plus Quick Service Dining package for the price of a regular Magic Your Way package. For those staying in a Value resort, this deal saves a family of four (2 adults, two kids ages 3-9) $77.96 per day -- the cost of adding the Quick Service Dining Plan to a basic vacation package.
*

If you stay in a Disney Moderate or Deluxe resort, you get the Magic Your Way Plus Dining package for the price of a regular Magic Your Way package. For those staying in a Moderate or Deluxe resort, this deal saves a family of four (2 adults, two kids ages 3-9) $101.96 per day -- the cost of adding the regular Dining Plan to a basic vacation package.

To qualify, you must purchase a regularly priced Magic Your Way package consisting of at least a 3-night stay at an official Walt Disney World resort hotel, PLUS at least a 1-day Magic Your Way Base Ticket.

If you want, those staying in a Value resort can upgrade to the regular Dining Plan for just $10 per adult per night and $2 per child (3-9) per night, or to the Deluxe Dining Plan for $42 per adult per night and $12 per child (3-9) per night; those staying in a Moderate or Deluxe can upgrade to the Deluxe Dining Plan for $32 per adult per night and $10 per child (3-9) per night. (The upgrade fees represent the usual price difference between the various dining plans.)

You can also add the "Wine & Dine" Plan to this package, at full price.

Some important advice if you book a "FREE Dining" package: Be sure to set up Advance Dining Reservations as soon as possible. In past years all of the table service restaurants have been completely full during the "FREE Dining" promotion period. It was almost impossible to get a table for a full-service meal on a walk-up basis. To ensure that you will be able to enjoy all the benefits of the Dining Plan, you really need to pre-reserve every single table service meal during your stay.

You must book this offer by 9/26/09. The number of packages available is limited. Suites are excluded from this offer. No group rates or other discounts apply.

Marci - Love your fun new siggie!! :goodvibes

Our sweet Zazu is home. Hopefully he will settle back in quickly. DH said Arabella is hissing at Zazu. Probably because he smells like the vet's office. She missed him while he was gone. On the other hand, he needs to take it slow for a few days, so if she leaves him alone that's not entirely bad.

Thank you. Kate did that for me years ago and I had forgotten about it until going through photobucket this week. I thought it would put me more in the mood for our cruise. (and it was time to get rid of the Christmas siggy...)

Anyone have thoughts on dining at Tony's at the MK? I am looking for a MK TS before MNSSHP.

I have only ever eaten breakfast there, Anne Marie. Sorry I can't be more help! Five days, right? Or is your ticker wrong too (mine were)?

We ate there several years ago, and I can barely remember it. So there you have it, nothing memorable, neither great nor horrible.

We are eating at The Plaza this trip. It was a toss-up between there and Tony's. I decided on The Plaza since their burgers get rave reviews.

Ann Marie give it a try and then let me know how it was. ;)

I wish they would bring back the breakfast, it was so good.

Hello, DDA!

Nothing too much here today. Just some general work around the house and a couple of quick errands. We're headed to The Muny tonight to see The Music Man. A couple of friends play various kids in the show and one is performing before the show as well. Should be fun!

Anne Marie - I'd be interested in hearing if you try Tony's. I've only done breakfast there and it was several years ago.

Elizabeth - Glad Zazu's doing well. I hope Arabella calms down about him soon.

It's about to get unquiet here as the baby will be here soon while her mom has another interview. Plus, Kristi's will probably be here with her kids in a bit as well. Guess I'd better go savor my time. Oh yeah, and go get clothes to fold. ;)

Well, I booked for Dec. and I have airfare on hold. :rolleyes1 I went with the AP rate. Not sure if we will actually do this or not, but we might.

We save $250 if we go early Fri. AM as opposed to Thur. PM, so we would just be there Fri-Mon. We would still have full days Sat (Ep) and Sun (MK + MVMCP).

The "free" dining would add $600 to the price if we stayed 4 nights. That does include the one day park passes that we don't need. I know we can upgrade them later, but this is more about making this trip SUPER cheap.

Airfare, hotel, MVMCP would run about $1250. Plus 9 meals, 6 CS and 3 TS. Hmm. Definitely need to ponder this.
