I saved the link you gave me & will look at it tom'w. Theres a Hampton Inn on Nags Head that might work...Dana has Hilton points from work...

Anne Marie - The Hampton Inn is in Corolla, not Nags Head. It is very nice but be aware that it is very far north on the Outer Banks. It is 12-13 miles north of the bridge that takes you over to Kitty Hawk on 158. (Don't go over at Manteo... it is a 36 mile drive of BEACH TRAFFIC that would take you well over an hour or more to make... on a GOOD day!)

This is not a touristy area of the beaches at all. The reason to go to this location is to be at the beach. Not a lot of "stuff" around like mini-golf but there is some shopping and dining in the area. And, there is the ever-popular Brew-Thru... You don't ever have to get out of your car to get your next brewski!

What more could one ask for!! And keep asking Terry and me about it. We love to talk about the OBX!!

Oh! I know what I wanted to tell you, Anne Marie... even though you are in NC you all are only about 10 miles closer to the OBX than we are! And the driving time looks to be about even. Pretty amazing, isn't it?
