DDA chapter 21

It's raining, it's pouring...been that way pretty much all week. It is really pouring at the moment, though.

The coach called me last night and told me that my plans were fine and that she was glad that I had written it all out so well for her to think about. She just didn't stop to think that someone might not be comfortable in another person's room. I am sure that it helped that I told her that we would make sure to completely submit to whatever schedule she makes. Whew! One less thing to worry about.

This will be another busy weekend. Matthew's drama club is performing Bus Stop. They had a performance last night (it was very good) that I was able to go to. They also have performances tonight, tomorrow night, and Sunday afternoon. Tonight we need to go to Laura's Spring Synchro Show. Tomorrow my parents will be here, and we'll all go to an early dinner and then the play. I am sure that I will also be at the play on Sunday, since it's his last high school play.

I really need to go get some things done around here, but I seem to have lost all motivation again.

Hmm. It's a shame the only thing I am motivated to do is mess with this WDW ressie! I just called to see if we can add another night of concierge, but downgrade the remaining 3 savanna nights to standard to see if we can get into Kidani. Nope. Which disappoints me, because the way it is now we switch rooms on my birthday. We have an 8 AM CP breakfast, so we'll have to get all the luggage to Bell Services before we leave for MK. OR we have to come by by 11 AM. I will have to ponder which is the lesser evil.

I have to go get DS in 10 minutes. Then I will drag him on my errands. That will irritate him. But that's my goal in life. To irritate him.

That's great! Is it the "Disney Grooves" one? I want it desperately, but everything I see is a bundle with 2 mats -- I don't need mats, I just want the game!

Yes, that's the one! We didn't have mats, so we bought the bundle with the two mats. I've never played DDR before, but I do like this game. I've worked up to difficult. Though my scores aren't the best, I don't fail most songs. The exception to that is Turkey in the Straw. I groan when that comes up in random. There is an option to use hands (as well as the feet on the mats) holding the Wii-mote and nunchuk which I think can be fun. The kids hate that option and always turn it off.

That's an interesting contest. Maybe you could take a silly picture of yourself somewhere with a sign saying that you did this while your kids were with Dad just because you knew how much it would mean to them?

I noticed your ticker has been gone a while, maybe I missed the post were you said you weren't going.

I am not going & it depends on the money situation as to whether Gary will be able to go himself. Been a rough year, but Europe is not going anywhere.

I had to cancel our trip to Ohio as well, guess it sucks to be me right now.

That sounds cool! I usually turn off the silly "mush mode" options in the Mario Mix, but might benefit from the extra hand motions as far as calorie burning goes... if I could stay upright! Good for you getting to difficult! You have me looking again, maybe this time we can find just the game, even used...

After the craziness of today is over we have a relaxing weekend ahead (hopefully!) We have no plans other than to sleep

& eat & watch tv.

Before I wrapped the gifts for my seniors I remembered to take a few photos. Since the pewter is "shiny" it made for some difficult focusing issues, but you will get the idea. These Jefferson Cups are a staple in Virginia as gifts for young men and groomsmen alike. It is likely they will receive more than one over the years and they often become collections.

A lady from Universal Guest Services just called and said my tickets DO NOT expire, so that's perfect. We will plan next year's trip to end with a couple of days at US/IOA and just go back to the airport from there.

Well! My Pre-Trip has been moved to "completed" and I can no longer post to it! How rude was THAT? A little notice would have been nice! Like maybe TELLING me it was being moved and maybe WHY? If it was closed because I violated something, if I re-start it I will be in trouble for re-starting a closed thread. Maybe a picture of her on stage with pictures of your kids looking like they are also on stage performing with her.

I love the idea of it being you did it while your kids were with their Dad.
