Cute photos. I just ordered my CD last night.

Bernadette, we did the fishing excursion from the Poly last year and we had a terrific time! All 3 of us caught fish - DS caught the most. Our guide was Carrie. We had a coupon from the Birnbaum guide for 20% off so it was $200 instead of $250 for two hours. We tipped the guide $50. They offer 3 times, I think. We did the earliest one - it left the dock about 7 AM. You can also fish from the banks at some of the resorts. I liked the charter because I didn't have to touch any bait or any fish. ;)

I like eating. I wanted to add an ADR at Citrico's but DH doesn't want to. He wants counter service. I told him we are having counter service FOUR nights! That is PLENTY! Maybe I will go to Citrico's without him! :snooty:
I mentioned fishing to DH and he really liked the idea.:thumbsup2

I have to show him some info on LaNouba too.

What harm could an ADR do? You could always cancel it. What night do you want to do Citricos? My only meal there wasn't a happy one. I don't even remember the food.:sad2: I just remember the waiter coming out with this stunning cake and my DH telling him to take it away.:scared:

So adorable!

MyEmma bridges to Brownies tomorrow.

Just got in from the old "smash & bash"

I need to call and make an appointment. It's been a while. I have the order from the doctor now I have to make the call.

Fun! I recently had the 6 month follow-up on the one. I received a letter the other day that it's normal. Probably about the only part of me that is. :rotfl:
Great new!

I am thoroughly irritated at DH.
I was really good about exercising the whole time I was off. I knew when I went back to work that getting ANY exercise would be a nightmare. I was RIGHT! :headache:

DS has to be at the bus stop for band camp at 7:30. We have to leave the house at 7:20. There is no way I can get a decent work out and shower before we have to leave. I am not comfortable leaving DS alone while I go to the fitness center, and it isn't fair to wake him up at 5:30 AM and drag him with me. I could do the Wii Fit, but I am still trying to determine if that is what is causing the pain in my left foot. It may be the Fit, but it may be my new Merrell sandals. (Which is a whole separate issue - I need to decide if I am going to try to return the sandals. I bought them last summer but I never wore them until 2 weeks ago. If those are the reason my foot hurts I hate to have wasted the money!)

Anyway, DH is off Fri & Sat now. Every week. So I was REALLY looking forward to having Friday morning to myself - HE was supposed to be in charge of DS. Nope. He volunteered to work. Now I am solely responsible for DS all 5 mornings. That makes me furious because he KNEW I planned on him taking DS to the bus. Of course he now claims to have NO memory of us talking about HIM taking DS on Friday.

I would try to get on the treadmill after work, but that will make DH mad. He wants me to eat dinner the exact minute he says dinner is ready. I HATE that. He will pout and make snarky comments if I start going to the treadmill after work. There simply are not enough hours in my day. I refuse to try to walk/jog 3.5 miles on a full stomach. DH claims he doesn't care when or if I eat, but any time I do not immediately drop what I am doing and come running for dinner he gets mad.

Oh, and then there is the issue of DS and DH not being able to get along. When I got home last night they were fighting and it took me 45 minutes to diffuse the fight. By then dinner was ready.

OK. Vent over. It is what it is.
Uggggg.......is he going to use the overtime pay for more camera equipment?

Tomorrow is Jackie's 8th grade graduation ceremony......apparently 51 8th grade students went home today "with flu-like symptoms" So tomorrow there will be no hand shaking and or hugging between teachers and students (according to the email received from the district) I hope we are sparred....not really wanting to get the plague!!
:wizard:Stay healthy!!!

Yikes! Scary! We just found out that my SIL's siblings have 4 confirmed swine flu cases between 3 families. Needless to say, we are staying far away from SIL. Nothing like putting your kids in quarantine the first week of summer!
:wizard:YIKES! Hope they all recover quickly!!!

It was such a crazy day at work ..but when I got home, my cousin and I went to dinner..it was so nice to see him and hang out with him before he leaves (for those on facebook, i put pictures up!)

I am SO glad today is over. Tomorrow Alyssa has her dress rehearsal for ballet. Friday is tap. Why they couldn't both be on the same evening is beyond me.

Nicholas came home with a note from school that he will be receiving an award on Monday. My parents will still be hear so they will get to come to the ceremony too. He asked me if I would be able to be there. I said "of course I will be there!" Then I hear Alyssa tell him "Mommy is always there". It made my heart flutter, and feel sad at the same time, that at her young age she can see what is going on.

Congrats to Nicholas and a big pat on the back for Mommy :goodvibes

I managed to pack for all 3 boys and only need to get some summer socks for Hunter. Chris is about 1/2 packed and we sat down as a family and roughed out a menu. I guess I was as productive as I could be.

Tomorrow night we have a picnic for Colby followed by haircuts for all 4 boys. That should pretty much kill the evening.

Hi! I hope you are all doing well.

I have been pinata building and auction basket assembling and gatherring supplies and lots of other things for this weekend.

I need to bake cupcakes and icing. Finish organizing stuff. Empty out my car so I can pack it up with other stuff for the weekend. I just hope it does not rain as there might be a 60% chance of thunderstorms, which would just be fantastic as we do not have a place inside we could do everything.

I have to work yet Wednesday and Thursday. Maybe tomorrow we will have internet access and phones that work today they were wonky or non-existant due to the llightening striking near our main office. If not it will be a waste of a day like today.

I need to find water balloons. I know I have over 100 hiding here, it is a matter of finding them.

Here is the pinata I made for relay

I may or may not be on again till after Relay.

Becky - your pinata looks great! Good luck at Relay!

TICK WARNING!

I hate it when people forward bogus warnings, but this one is real, and it's important.

If someone comes to your front door saying they are checking for ticks due to the warm weather and asks you to take your clothes off and dance around with your arms up,
DO NOT DO IT!! THIS IS A SCAM!!
They only want to see you naked.

I wish I'd gotten this yesterday. I feel so stupid!!

Uh-oh. That's alot! I hope Jackie doesn't get it.

Kristine, I hope all of you stay healthy! :wizard:

Congrats to Nicholas! :dance3: YAY for Mommy!

Ditto! I hope everything goes well! :wizard:

Bernadette - The fishing excursion was fun. You should probably call IPO today and see if there are any slots open. Just in case. :rolleyes1

I am thinking of 8/9 for Citrico's. Maybe. We went 2 years ago with my friend from Tampa. That was the night the sprinklers malfunctioned and they had water cascading down the wall. But it was fun! Last year it was just the 3 of us on my birthday. It was very good, but not quite as good as the year before.
We have a lot of signature ADRs in the days before, so I think DH thinks we will be too full to want another signature dinner. There are some local DISers we would like to meet, so we might end up doing something with them if everyone's schedules line up. :confused3

So sweet! They know they Mommy loves them.
