I mentioned fishing to DH and he really liked the idea.Bernadette, we did the fishing excursion from the Poly last year and we had a terrific time! All 3 of us caught fish - DS caught the most. Our guide was Carrie. We had a coupon from the Birnbaum guide for 20% off so it was $200 instead of $250 for two hours. We tipped the guide $50. They offer 3 times, I think. We did the earliest one - it left the dock about 7 AM. You can also fish from the banks at some of the resorts. I liked the charter because I didn't have to touch any bait or any fish.
I like eating. I wanted to add an ADR at Citrico's but DH doesn't want to.He wants counter service. I told him we are having counter service FOUR nights! That is PLENTY! Maybe I will go to Citrico's without him!

I have to show him some info on LaNouba too.
What harm could an ADR do? You could always cancel it. What night do you want to do Citricos? My only meal there wasn't a happy one. I don't even remember the food.

So adorable!
MyEmma bridges to Brownies tomorrow.
I need to call and make an appointment. It's been a while. I have the order from the doctor now I have to make the call.Just got in from the old "smash & bash"![]()

Great new!Fun! I recently had the 6 month follow-up on the one. I received a letter the other day that it's normal. Probably about the only part of me that is.![]()
Uggggg.......is he going to use the overtime pay for more camera equipment?I am thoroughly irritated at DH.
I was really good about exercising the whole time I was off. I knew when I went back to work that getting ANY exercise would be a nightmare. I was RIGHT!
DS has to be at the bus stop for band camp at 7:30. We have to leave the house at 7:20. There is no way I can get a decent work out and shower before we have to leave. I am not comfortable leaving DS alone while I go to the fitness center, and it isn't fair to wake him up at 5:30 AM and drag him with me. I could do the Wii Fit, but I am still trying to determine if that is what is causing the pain in my left foot. It may be the Fit, but it may be my new Merrell sandals. (Which is a whole separate issue - I need to decide if I am going to try to return the sandals. I bought them last summer but I never wore them until 2 weeks ago. If those are the reason my foot hurts I hate to have wasted the money!)
Anyway, DH is off Fri & Sat now. Every week. So I was REALLY looking forward to having Friday morning to myself - HE was supposed to be in charge of DS. Nope. He volunteered to work. Now I am solely responsible for DS all 5 mornings. That makes me furious because he KNEW I planned on him taking DS to the bus. Of course he now claims to have NO memory of us talking about HIM taking DS on Friday.
I would try to get on the treadmill after work, but that will make DH mad. He wants me to eat dinner the exact minute he says dinner is ready. I HATE that. He will pout and make snarky comments if I start going to the treadmill after work. There simply are not enough hours in my day. I refuse to try to walk/jog 3.5 miles on a full stomach. DH claims he doesn't care when or if I eat, but any time I do not immediately drop what I am doing and come running for dinner he gets mad.
Oh, and then there is the issue of DS and DH not being able to get along. When I got home last night they were fighting and it took me 45 minutes to diffuse the fight. By then dinner was ready.
OK. Vent over. It is what it is.

Tomorrow is Jackie's 8th grade graduation ceremony......apparently 51 8th grade students went home today "with flu-like symptoms" So tomorrow there will be no hand shaking and or hugging between teachers and students (according to the email received from the district) I hope we are sparred....not really wanting to get the plague!!

Yikes! Scary! We just found out that my SIL's siblings have 4 confirmed swine flu cases between 3 families. Needless to say, we are staying far away from SIL. Nothing like putting your kids in quarantine the first week of summer!
