Good morning!

Ok the 2nd floor, kitchen & hall are done & packed & on a truck. They may be able to finish today which would be great. The kids are starting to get excited about Williamsburg. :cool1:

Hope you all have a great day.

Outstanding! I will keep my fingers crossed that I get to meet up with you all again. But Williamsburg will be such a wonderful stop for you and the kids! :goodvibes

My uncle sent me this one. :) (Sorry about the tabs...weird copying and pasting)

Never Argue with a Woman

One morning the husband returns after several hours of fishing and decides to take a nap. Although not familiar with the lake, his wife decides to take the boat out. She motors out a short distance, anchors, and reads her book.
Along comes a Game Warden in his boat. He pulls up alongside the woman and says, 'Good morning, Ma'am. What are you doing?'
'''Reading a book,' she replies, (thinking, 'isn’t that obvious?')

'You're in a Restricted Fishing Area,' he informs her.
'I'm sorry, officer, but I'm not fishing. I'm reading'

'Yes, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at any moment. I'll have to take you in and write
you up.'

'For reading a book,' she replies.

'You're in a Restricted Fishing Area,' he informs her again.

'I'm sorry, officer, but I'm not fishing. I'm reading'

'Yes, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at any moment. I'll have to take you in and write
you up.'

'If you do that, I'll have to charge you with Sexual assault,' says the woman.

'But I haven't even touched you,' says the game warden.

'That's true, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at any moment.'

'Have a nice day ma'am,' and he left.

MORAL: Never argue with a woman who reads. It's likely she can also think!

Elin thanks for posting that link, it would be nice if it becomes popular that they would extend it through the winter too.

That dessert buffet looked incredible!! I would definitely consider doing that...of course, first I would have to convince my husband that we should go to WDW. That could be the real hard part!

Anne Marie - Good luck with the rest of the packing and your vacation to Williamsburg! I've always wanted to go there. Someday!

Elizabeth - I'm sorry you are feeling cranky. I've been there! If you need to vent, you know where we are!

Things here are looking up! We are fever free for the first time in 9 days! Hooray! Leslie and Jacob are still on the tamiflu for a few days, but at least we are not contagious anymore! So, we are going to spend today running all the errands that have piled up around here. Library, grocery store, etc. It should be nice just to get out of the house. It's going to be in the mid-90's so I'm thinking a stop at Sonic for a slush is in order, as well.

I promise I'll post the rest of the Day 5 pictures today. I'm just waiting on some from Toon Town from my niece and sister. My camera didn't make it to Toon Town with us. Keep your fingers crossed that I get them soon!

Elizabeth-sorry you are grumpy:hug::hug:

Glynis-if you go to Sonic go this afternoon....1/2 price slushies every day 2-4 PM (at least around here).

Everybody's vacations are fast approaching....I am just a bit jealous.

That's why I love to go to Sonic in the afternoon. I can afford to treat my kids to a slushie after working hard all morning.

Have you heard from the interview?

nope...and I am getting peeved by all of the people who do not have the courtesy to say "thanks, but no thanks" espescially after an interview.

The buffet looks better than I thought it would. I hope that is what it continues to look like as the summer progresses.

Theresa, I would ask the interviewer when they will be making a decision. When I used to do interviews I would tell people "If you don't hear from me by Wednesday you may assume the position has been filled." That eliminated the need for them to call me.

I just came from the eye Dr. Oral antibiotics. new drops, stupid hot compresses. Follow up in 2 weeks. This dude (a colleague of my friend's boss) recommends cutting them out, which I was hoping to avoid. Guess we'll see if the antibiotics do any good.

Elizabeth,
Oh no, that sounds painful...:wizard::wizard::wizard::wizard::wizard:for them to go away!

Our bedroom is packed up, & so is the office...almost there!!!

I bought the movers a pizza & some drinks & everyone is having lunch yum. They are really very professional & so far we are thrilled with the way they are handling everything.

I don't however want to move AGAIN!:rolleyes1

I would understand if they said what you did...but they kind of hem and haw about when they will do things....I am assuming I didn't get a second interview with the most current one because she said was going to "try" and do second interviews today.

None of the most recent interviews have gone all that well...I think I need to get one on one help for them.
