DDA chapter 21

Well, I had a long comp shop night and still have to finish tomorrow. The girl I share the job with has pneumonia (terrible spelling, I know) and so I picked up some of her list as well. Luckily, Terra was able to stay home so I didn't have to drag her around with me. Now, though, it is time for my bed. Night all!

I didn't tell you all but I got recruited to run the sound for The Music Man at my old work (I am a glutton for punishment). I do run the sound board very well but it does remind me why I got out of there. I have had 4 practices with the sound board and tomorrow starts a run of 4 performances....there may be some screeching from the mikes tomorrow. I am friendly with most of the cast/crew and Cassidy is running the lights so she says I keep her entertained with my faces and comments on the others.

We got our ME documents yesterday! But they only sent 3 luggage tags. I am checking AT LEAST 4 bags, so I will be calling them today for more tags.

That's because there are only three of you. They don't expect people to pay for that second piece of luggage...BUT they don't know you! If they don't give them to you for some reason, say you never got the yellow tags, just the book. (Then you have 2 more for as a backup...)

I am pretty mcuh packed and ready to go, but we are not leaving til mid afternoon tomorrow. So im going to be bored tomorrow and going crazy til we leave!

That may be one of the dates on our DVC ressie that links to the next ressie, but we are definitely NOT leaving on the 7th. Hopefully we are all set now as far as ME.

Yesterday was not a big win day for us. Chris and Colby took 2nd in one canoe race and Chris and Nick took 3rd in another. Those were our only ribbons of the day. SIL won a t-shirt for shuffleboard and so did Logan, but then again they are the competition We even lost a Bocce game to DB and DSIL. We are still in the competition, but they are undefeated.

This morning is off to a good start, My mother and I took first place in the Ladies Shuffleboard Tourney My Mom is so excited as this is the first time she has even won a T-shirt here We didn't even lose one game. Chris and Dad were eliminated at washer toss. Later Chris is in the next round of the men's shuffleboard, the kids have washer toss, another round of Double Dare and Bocce. For now we are going to soak up some sunshine and hit the beach. TTYL

Nope. We would have to rent a big car to have enough space for all the luggage, so it would be harder to find a good deal. Like last year when we switched resorts we had to make sure they requested a VAN from the taxi company so the luggage would fit. Since we aren't leaving Disney property there is no reason for us to rent a car.

Thanks, Elin! That sounds right. I had looked for it before our trip, but didn't see it in our store. I did, however, pick up the new book Mousejunkies. It's a travel guide and I had no intention of buying when I first heard of it, but then I looked at it. I'm sure there's little I don't know in there, but the writing is just plain funny. I was laughing in the store and decided maybe I needed to read it after all.
