I am completely off my groove. DH is working this brutal schedule so I have to get DS from school every day. Princess had swimming this morning, then we had a completely high maintenance play date. The other nanny switched locations on us, then she wanted to eat WAAYY early, so now Princess is all out of whack and whiny because she ate lunch too early.

I had a TON of errands. I managed to do exactly ONE. The cleaners ruined Momboss's blouse before Easter. She just found a receipt for it, so she asked me to take it back so they can reimburse her. The totally UNprofessional bimbo at the cleaners said I will have to come back because the manager isn't there. I have to go back anyway, because I forgot to bring a check to pay for the clothes that need to be picked up.

Momboss left 2 pairs of shoes for repair, but I can't tell what's wrong with one pair, so I couldn't drop them off.

We need groceries, but that will have to be a tomorrow thing.

I made it to Target and got everything from that list, but that was it.

When we got back from Target I left my car in the driveway. DH came to get DS. We were getting DS's backpack from my car and a HUGE branch fell on my car. Dented the door AND scratched it. Yes, we are lucky it didn't hit any of us. But I am upset about the car.

Princess needs a bath. I am completely stressed out. So there you have it!

Gary now has an appointment to see a kidney specialist in July. We are both to the point of knowing that nothing is going to found & this is probably just something he will have to deal with the rest of his life.

But he will go just to hear what they have to say.

I officially handed in my notice at work today.

Transfer did not work as the nc store is full & I wouldn't be able to make the 10-2 shift like I do now since that mall is so far from the house & the kids school.

I am so not happy.

Here's a bunch of pixie dust and hugs. It seems like many of you could use some today.

Nick's got a head ache from yesterday, but other than that the boys seem well. Actually Colby has been getting a lot of nose bleeds lately, so I don't know what's up with that.

Tomorrow I have a dentist appointment. First a filling, then cleaning The kids only have a half day tomorrow so I'll spend the afternoon with them.

Today was a long, but good day! I stayed at work til 5. I had dinner plans at 530 and didnt want to drive back adn forth so i stayed and did some work. I had dinner with my cousin and my brother's girlfriend, which was nice as always. Then i went to my dad's firehouse--his birthday was sunday and they had an ice cream cake so i went and hung out there for a couple of hours and watched the phillies game..now here i am

A form came home with Alyssa today. More like a question/answer thing for her placement next year. The school will not honor specific requests for teachers, but we can request a specific 'style' of teaching. What types of styles of teaching are there? I can write down her strenghts, where she excels, etc., but I'm at a loss as to what to put for teaching style.

I can write down her strengths, where she excels, etc., but I'm at a loss as to what to put for teaching style.

I'm not an ex teacher, but I have a few ideas. Some teachers are more nurturing than others, Nick needs that style. There are also teachers that have more structure as to expectations, following a daily routine vs changing things up daily. Discipline will vary by teacher. Some are yellers, others give more time outs, others have little discipline at all. There are a lot of variables, but you probably know which things Alyssa will react positively to
