How are you tonight? Are you home or in Lansing? Have your started looking for an apartment yet?

I got home before 6pm last night. It was actually a beautiful drive yesterday.

I've started looking for apartments. I have to have one within the next 6 weeks. I also have to give up my company vehicle by then. Lots of changes coming.

It's a bit nippy outside, but that hasn't stopped Colby, DN and DN from going out with papa to ride their 4-wheelers. Colby was sleeping when I got home last night so I couldn't hear about the birthday party that he went to. This morning he told me that he had a great time and that he didn't want to leave. He also said that the present that he gave her was the best present there Apparently all the girls went wild when she opened it. It was a bunch of high school musical things that he had picked out and on thing was a poster. We got it on clearance at the grocery store and all we knew was that it was a High School Musical poster, well apparently it was a poster of Troy (More Screaming )

That is what I am afraid of..spending all that money & then it's too crowded to enjoy. Thats the only party during our trip & the reason i wanted to go in the first place so I am in a frazzle as to what to do.

I don't think they were undercover so much as "plain clothes". They aren't out there now.

Hey guys, i have a design request--i can post it on the main board, but thought i would try here first.

For my brother's birthday, i bought him a ticket to the rascal flatts concert --for his birthday, i wanted to wrap up a couple of CDs and have an "invitation" or "admit ticket" or something.
I have no ideas but if it could say something like..
Admit one to the Rascal Flatts concert on Saturday September 12, 2009
If there is somewhere to put that he is going "with Jen and Frankie"--that would be great so he knows who is going!

Does that make any sense?

Dance pictures and soccer are done. Now I'm trying to handle some laundry and get the house straightened up before I head off to work. My parents will be arriving sometime this evening, but I won't see them until morning. I don't think they'll be up at 1AM to great me.

Jen - I assume you don't have the ticket. Is it at will call or something? Perhaps the design could say something about where to get the actual ticket. If you do have the ticket, why not just wrap it up and give it to him?

When I took Bob to the Riverside Dinner Theater to see Grease, I didn't quite know how to present it to him. So I made up 5 "cards" and put them in envelops. I just googled images. The first was a picture of a river, then a playground slide -L, a nice dinner table, and a theater. In the last envelop was the cast picture of Grease. Kinda like a rebus puzzle. Could you do something like that?

Tammi-A friend of mine ordered the ticketse for me since we were at a funeral day the they went on sale--So the tickets are at her house. I am not sure I will see her before my brothers birthday (she doesnt live local) so I cant just give him the ticket..
The cards idea sounds good, but its not something he would like (hes a pain haha). thats why I was thinking if i got soemthing designed, i could put it under the cds i the box..if not, no big deal--he wont care anyway im sure! haha

I'm making Amy's Fancy Chicken. It says to add Herb Stuffing Mix. I hope that means that I'm not supposed to make it. I can't reach her on the cell so I'm going to try it that way. That recipe has intrigued me since she posted it. There are lots of ingredients from things that I really love to it. Mushrooms, swiss cheese, and chicken. I can give or take stuffing but Chuck loves that. I'll let you know how it turns out.

I'm also making Chuck's birthday treat since I wasn't here to make it on his birthday - Cheese Torte.
