So during the chemical stress tests, my mother's heart stopped!! After performing chest compressions they got it restarted. Thankfully they got enough data for the test. They also beleive she may have diabetes. So waiting for those tests as well. I am heading over shortly.

I had a procedure on my finger today...I have a cyst that has been causing pain...they shoved in the world's largest needle. I actually yelled and had to restrain from smacking the doctor. Unfortunately he recommends surgery to remove it as he thinks aspiration will not be successful.

And in other news....Bill has decided to have double knee replacement. Consult is on the 13th. He is in so much pain he is almost handicapped by it. So it is definitely time.

Wow! What a lot on your plate! Your mom is in my prayers.

Good luck with your finger. That sounds like no fun at all.

Good luck to Bill with the double knee replacement. My mom had that done, and was really glad to have them both done at once. She said, if she'd known what pain she would have been in with only one, she would never have done the second knee. It was a wonderful thing for her to have the new knees, however. Let us know when his surgery is, so we can send along good thoughts.

Robyn love your website! Your cakes are truley amazing, wish I lived closer.

Good thoughts for Bill on the knee replacements. :wizard: :wizard:
My mom had one done and refuses to have the other done.

My grandma had both knees done at once and said she was very glad she did it that way..my mom is in the process of looking into getting hers done too and she also said she wants to do them both at once

Robyn, of course your site is awesome! :goodvibes

Kristine, many hugs to you and your family!!

Something scandalous is happening. There are undercover police outside. DS is staking out their stakeout.

About a week ago I heard people outside at 2:40 AM. LOUD people. Got up to look. Car outside with 5 people in it. A roly-poly gangster driving, and 2 couples. One couple is outside the car screaming at each other, then they started to smack each other around. The others intervened. The fighting couple got back in the car, the other couple went into an apt. in the building across from us, the roly-poly gangster got back in the car and drove away. I couldn't see the plate well enough to read it. It looks to me like they are waiting for that couple who lives in that apartment.

DH said they arrested another guy earlier on the other end of the property. He thinks it is a warrant round-up. I think it is drug or gang activity. The cars are unmarked. One car is OBVIOUSLY a police car, but there are 2 SUVs that DH and DS said are police cars that I wouldn't have noticed. Hmmm...

Lately between 2 AM & 3 AM somebody has been coming home and making a TON of noise, but I have been too tired to get up and see if it is the same guys.

I was hoping to get tickets for the 10/29 MNSSHP but that date seems to have become unavailable.:confused3 Thought it might be better to go before Halloween but now there is no choice so looks like we will be going on 10/31. It will cost us $320 to go on Halloween night. :scared1: I am not sure I want to pay that & don't think that Dana will like that too much.

I wouldn't do it! It will be packed!!

Looks and sounds like it is raining AND pouring on you guys, Kristine. I hope all turns around very quickly. Good luck to all three of you.

oh heck, I think our entire family will be sad when the inevitable happens and Cassidy and Josh break up. The boy is over quite a bit and is a nice boy (other than the kissing....but I think it's just ewww any way:rotfl:)

Robyn - Your website is wonderful! Wish we could all order cakes from you!!

Kristine-your family is in my prayers

Robyn-that is quite a cute site!!

Elizabeth-there is a never dull moment in your life!!

I need to finish packing. If you see me on here in the next 30 minutes YELL AT ME!

Theresa, eh, it's dull now. The police all left. I could have told them that guy will show up around 2 AM. I suppose they will be back later. Or they caught him somewhere else and don't need to stake out the apt. now. :confused3

Man it's not good for you lately. Too bad the cyst didn't get sliced out by the canned ham. My elderly uncle had both of his knees replaced, at separate times, and he is soooo much happier. I hope Bill has the same luck. The therapy afterwards is painful and difficult, so don't let him wimp out on it. That's the only way to recover.

TGIF. after a very long day I can finally relax. While the pool was a bit busier today, the restaurant was not :sad2: Tomorrow I need to get something done around here as Sunday we have an away Lacrosse game for Nick.

Tammi - did you get the 10% off coupon for Meadows Farms?

I'm finally home and relaxing too, albeit short-lived. Nicholas and his dad went to the race tonight, in Richmond. So that meant a girls night for me and Alyssa. After tap lessons we grabbed a quick bite to eat, then I gave her the choice of going shopping at Justice to spend her gift card or going to the Hannah Montana movie. Of course she chose the movie! When we walked into the theater there were only a handful of people, to include our next door neighbor and her daughter, so we sat with them. I really enjoyed the movie. Alyssa has asked to get it on DVD. She doesn't get the concept that there is a lag between theater and DVD. I just had to buy the soundtrack of the movie. There are quite a few really good songs....Butterfly, The Climb and of course the Hoedown Throwdown, which I vow to learn.

Tomorrow Nicholas has a soccer game, Alyssa has a photograph session at dance, and then I'm going to work from 3 until midnight, a sweet OT assignment, paying cash. ChaChing! I'm working it all next weekend too. I'll be beat, but it's good money. Oh my parents are coming into town tomorrow night too.
