Heidi, I use a cordless mouse with my laptop. I just cannot manage the mouse thingie on the laptop. I am definately laptop challenged!!! :lmao:

Its been so nice out today, but boy did the wind just pick up. Wonder if it is going to storm?

I've read a bit here in there this afternoon. We split and piles 5 cord of wood and got a bunch of other outside things done.

Glynis the pictures are adorable. You have such a picture perfect family :goodvibes Chris promises to read and post tonight so I'm sure he'll chime in then.

Jennifer we have several compact digital cameras. I really love being able to just stick it in my pocket and go. Mine is a Canon digital elf. It is older, I don't remember the model. We gave Nick the Canon digital elf sd1100 for Christmas and he LOVES it. It is easy to use and has enough features to keep him busy. It is much more advanced than mine and has image stabilization. Hunter has a Fujifilm compact, I don't remember the model of the top of my head. He is very happy with that one too.

I think my next camera will be less compact with more zoom options. Since we already have great compacts it only makes sense.

Now I'm off to the grocery store. We need a bunch of stuff since the kids go back to school tomorrow. We also need a gift for a birthday party that Colby is going to on Friday.

Glynis, how did you get your tomboy in a dress?

Well, first of all, Grandpa bought the dress, and she would do anything for Grandpa! Second of all, it's not a girly color, and third, she knows that she HAS to wear a dress to church, so she doesn't fight us on it, anymore.

Glynis - Love the family pictures, so how did Timothy like his first taste of food?

Jennifer - Personally, I hate Easyshare cameras.

It has been very hot here today and I tried just having the fan on but no luck. I just turned the AC on. It is supposed to maybe storm here tonight and hopefully that will cool things down.

He wasn't quite sure what to make of it. After I started making his cereal with fruit juice instead of formula, he began to like it more. Then we started adding in simple foods. Lets just say anything orange he likes, but anything green he does not!

Glynis - loved all the pictures. Those baby chairs that you and Jennifer have are so neat. I wish I would have had one for my kids.

Elizabeth -

It must be because there is no football talk going on yet! :lmao:

Good morning!

You should have came to Easton, PA today for footall. For the Gatorade Replay Game. Back in 1993 Easton and Phillipsburg High Schools had a 7-7 tie for a Thanksgiving football game, as they did not have overtime. They put the players from that game into training and they are replaying the game as adults to get a "winner" today. They also had the band and cheerleaders from 1993 come back as well to partake in the craziness.

Well you could have at least kept me company as I roasted out in the sun at the block party before the game. Then we could have went to the game, I had lots of people trying to sell me tickets, When I got back in my car to come home the thermometer said 105 degrees. I was outside with no cover for like 7 hours.

I was outside all day yesterday at Knoebel's for their first day opening. Wristbands were buy one, get one free.

I can not believe I have to go back to the office tomorrow.

I remembered why I like to shop alone. I took Colby with me as he wanted to pick out the gift for his friend. That was a mistake. He lasted about 15 minutes before he started complaining about how much his feet hurt. Then he started sitting down in the aisle :sad2: So we made it through Kmart and got the gift for the party. He wanted to go home, but I still needed to grocery shop. I had to get one of the carts with the car on the front for him to squeeze into. Of course the basket is much smaller then on regular carts so that added another level of difficulty. We did manage, but it was not a fun outing. Now I get to fight him into bed.

Elizabeth -

It really is handy! He enjoys sitting in it, and it gives me some freedom!

Glynis & Debbie I love the baby pictures :goodvibes

Glynis your children looked very nice for Easter :)

Debbie-Aubrey is so cute! And getting so big!

Theresa-great pictures! Love the hair! They make such a cute couple.

Glynis-great pictures! Glad Katie was able to find a swim suit she like!

My mother is going to drive me over the edge. All her little plotting and scheming to buy a house she can't afford or maintain is going to be very bad in the end. Especially since she thinks LYING to me about it is a good idea. She tells my aunt what she is doing, which is how I know what is really going on. Makes me furious. She is going to dig herself in so deep there will be no way out, and then I will get stuck with it when something happens to her. I can't wait. It will be lovely.
:headache:How frustrating!

I wouldn't get a Kodak.

The fuji looks new-I couldn't find it in stock the couple of places I look.

The Canon uses AA batteries-that is good cause you can always find them BUT the other batteries last longer and recharge the flash a lot faster. That camera also has top ISO speed of 1600-which would allow better low light photos.

The Sony doesn't use AA batteries. ISO of 1000.

I just bought this camera at BJ's for $95
http://shop.bjs.com/Sony-Cyber-shot...VproductId43679035VVcatId481643VVviewprod.htm

I did notice it was more when I was just there today but I don't think it was $149:confused3 You might be able to find it at a Target for $99 if you don't mind pink.

This camera has ISO of 3200 and has a view finder-sometimes it is hard to see the screen when it very bright out. I like the option of a view finder but very few small cameras have them-this Sony has been discontinued and the new line no longer have view finders.

I've been cranky this weekend. I think the stress of all that I wanted to do was getting me down. I started making a shirt for me but I'm so convinced that I will hate it on that I just can't deal with it anymore. I've decided I just am not up for it. I wanted to make the girls shirts for the circus we are going to Friday but have only made the pattern-not cut them out. If I would just do them it really wouldn't take that long.

I did do 5 loads of laundry yesterday and then went out to JoAnns and Kohl's last night. I did find wooden buttons I like much better for Joe's shirt. At Kohl's I tried on a couple of shirts, jeans, shorts & chinos and NOTHING fit.:scared: That did nothing to improve my mood. It wasn't that everything was too small-I just hated it all. I could really use new chinos for work but I will make it through next week and I only have 1 pair of jeans that I like but that is all I really need for the trip so I just can't deal with it til after the trip.

Today I did more laundry and went to BJ's. AND took a nap. I did get all the clothes for Joe & I put on the bed. Now I have to go up and get it in the suitcase.

I know Joe & I are going to have a wonderful time but right now the getting there isn't have the fun. I am very excited for this trip and have come to terms with letting go things that were stressing me out.

OK off to go pack-that should help reduce the uneasy stressful feelings I'm having.
