DDA Chapter 19

Today would be my dad's 70th birthday. He should be here so that we could celebrate it. His parents lived into their 90's. All but one of his 12 brothers and sisters are still with us as well as all their kids, grandkids and great grandkids. There might even be great great grandkids. Why did we have to lose my dad?

Life isn't always fair and I hate that too.

Good morning, DDA! :sunny: (but February cold again... :sad2:)

Good Morning

Tammi wish Nicholas good luck with his soccer game:cheer2:

I went to bed early last night and I'm more exhausted this morning. I have the cough that the boys had, but I've got a lot of gunk in my chest and lungs too. I keep hoping that it will subside soon, but it is beginning to take its toll on me. I'm at work and it isn't busy, but trying to stay awake will certainly be a chore today. I've already lost most of my voice and what's left is pretty scary sounding :scared: Of course I'm waitressing this evening too so that could be a ton of fun.

Vicki- :grouphug:

Tammi- Sorry you mom leaves today. :sad1: Good luck to Nicholas!!

Theresa- Cassidy is beautiful.:goodvibes

Deb- Sorry you aren't feeling well. :wizard:

Jen- Welcome back! Great pics.

Becky- Thanks for sharing your pics!! Love them!

Bernadette- Love those shirts!!!!

Elin- Where, oh, where is spring? :sad2:

Finally! There was an extra $32 in my paycheck! However small, I guess I am finally getting my piece of the government pie, from the tax relief plan. That's an extra $64 a month.

Good morning. :)

My mom is leaving today. :(

Tonight is Nicholas' first soccer game of the season. I hope it doesn't get too cold!

Hugs to you!

Did that start already? I thought it wasn't going into effect until June. Then Momboss said she thought April. We did find the new tax tables on the IRS website, but I am pretty sure they haven't "fixed" my payroll stuff yet. This is one of those times that having my payroll done through a service would be really good. It will be interesting to see if DH has some extra in his checks in the next couple of weeks. Of course his varies from week to week with his overtime so it might not be that obvious. :confused3

I am sorry you are still not better, Deb. I have one word for you... honest:

Mucinex-D

It will get that gunk out of your chest and stop the draining that is causing the voice loss and the stuff down there. Good luck!

huh.... didn't even think of that happening. I forgot! When did it go into effect?

I didn't know it was time yet either, Elizabeth!

Bob's and Kristin's paychecks will show the difference very easily, but mine will be tougher to discern since it is not done by a payroll service either. But I bet that is why my boss called to ask about my withholding yesterday. I bet she has new quidelines to follow now.

I wish we had had more days in the park--we got some cute photopass shots and if we had more days, we could haev gotten more and it would have made sense to buy the CD--but for the 50 some pictures we got..a.nd im sure they are all not great, its not worth it..ugh!
Welcome home! Did you know you can purchase individual electronic photos. I think it is about $10.95 per photo but if you had one that a few of you wanted copies of it might be worth it.

Hope you're feeling better.:wizard: I stayed home sick today. I was feverish at work Friday, fine over the weekend and feverish again yesterday. I don't have a fever today but head & body aches. Hopefully a day of rest will help me get over it.

Becky-love your photos!!!! How's your Dad doing?

Hope you get to feeling better too, Bernadette!

 :scared1: Good grief, I do payroll. How come I haven't heard about this? :scared:

I'm not 100% certain that's where the extra money came from, but I didn't get a raise and I had no overtime, so it's the only thing I could figure.

Tammi, Eric's paycheck was more this past week too. I think, though, that his was due to the fact that they didn't take the money out for insurance as next month is a 3 paycheck month.

Nope, all my normal deductions are there. :confused3
