DDA Chapter 19

We also found ourselves at the doctors today. I got out of work and tried to nap with the boys, but their coughs made it prohibitive. I called and got them in. The doctor check them both out thoroughly and they are okay at the moment, but they were still not willing to give cough meds. That means no sleep again for any of us. Hunter is being carefully watched for pneumonia since he has a history. No crackles today so hopefully he can keep fending it off. Colby has a croupy cough and she mentioned steroids, but again she wants to hold off. She said he could be on the verge of broncitis too. The only positive news was that neither had a fever at that moment in time. Of course Hunter has started vomiting and diarrehia since we got home. I do have some zofran on hand if we need it. The overall feeling was that they should start to feel better in a day or two, but if they worsen at all we should run them up again.

At this point I'm not sure if I will stay home tomorrow or if Chris will. Chris is still not feeling 100%, but he says he plans to work which means that I will need to stay home, but if he is still sick I think he should stay home. I guess we'll see how the night goes. Hunter and Colby both went to bed an hour and a half ago and neither is sleeping as I hear them both coughing.

On my way home. Weather is a bit cool, but no rain so I am thrilled. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I'll talk to you next week, as it is back to no tv and internet for me. :happytv: :surfweb: <imagine those smilies with the red line through them>

poor sweet pea:hug:

Thanks, Theresa.

Hello, DDA! I've started several messages over the past couple of days, and for one reason or another have had to quit before sending them. Last night's reason was because the drain in the basement was clogged, and I had an entire washing machine's worth of water all over the floor. Fortunately, throwing $125 at it fixed the problem.

Robyn, pixiedust: that Lucy feels better soon. for you!

Yikes on the water mess.

Thanks, Beth

Thanks, Janet.

Thanks! Dh actually did most of the work cleaning it up, so I shouldn't complain.

:thumbsup2 I like this

There you go! We're doing ok. She got sick again tonight, which was expected, but at least she continued to have a voracious appetite. I think we'll get the Zofran filled for tomorrow so we can stay ahead of it.

Thanks for all of your prayers!

I am glad Avery is on the mend. :wizard: that Elise manages to escape to nastiness.'s

Robyn-poor baby Lucy & Mo. Hope they are feeling better soon and yourEmma stays well. Have fun at NKOTB!!!

Thanks, Bernadette. How are your 3?

We also found ourselves at the doctors today.

:wizard: that everyone starts feeling better.

Was this with the ENT? Poor thing. :sad2:

:wizard: for Lucy & you!

Thanks, Jennifer.

Boy, that was a quick trip. I hope it gave you the jolt you needed to perk you up a bit.

I hope all the sick ones are on the mend today! :wizard:

Um, did I say SPRING?????

We have snow flurries outside!

So last night was Fabulous!!!! Our seats were great, much better than the 2 or 3 times I actually paid for tickets.

Dana and I had very little expectations going in, but the feeling was just like it was all those years ago. Well, maybe, a bit different because the whole tone of their act now is very sexual. I get that and think it's hilarious. Dana was a bit put off by it. They still are gorgeous.  And it makes no difference that Jon is gay, I still love him.  They put on a spectacular show and I screamed and danced like I did when I was 15. It felt great to get caught up in the hype.

I'm glad you had a good time. I'm sure the break was nice.

Stephanie has a great and safe trip home.
