Good morning. :)

I'll be home again today. It's not that she isn't 'feeling' well. Her temp still goes up in the afternoon, and she still has an annoying cough. Thanks for all your thoughts.

:wizard: for your dad Becky & for you.

I hope the surgery goes well, Becky! :wizard:

I think I'm going to keep Alyssa home one more day. Thursday they have an early dismissal, so I think she can make it through 2/3s of a day.

Sorry she is still feverish. This is a tenacious virus!

Tomorrow is the big day!:dance3: :cool1: :cheer2: :yay:

YAY! :cool1:

Back to work for me today! It's supposed to be beautiful weather, so we'll have to figure out what to do. Everything will be crowded.

My mom and Diva drove down yesterday, but of course they have no plan in place. DS is all antsy to see Grandma but Diva calls the shots so maybe he will see her and maybe he won't. Same story, different day.

I started my weight training yesterday. Let me tell you, I feel muscles that I don't think I have used in a LONG time!:scared:

On a plus side, I lost another 6 lbs since the beginning of the month!:woohoo:

I am on the last hole in my belt, and my pants are beginning to almost fall off! I still have a LONG way to go, but at least I feel like I am making some progress!

Elizabeth - :wizard: for a day with Grandma!

Tom - YAY on the weight loss. You can do it!

You gotta have gear! Four suitcases, three laptops and one shelf of the bookcase. :thumbsup2

Fifteen hours of travel and this greeted me. YAY! :cool1:

The next morning we went to the beach. Didn't get into the water, but hey. There's sand, there's sun, there's water...:beach:

Going to get breakfast. Have a great day DDA....:dance3: pixiedust:

I am going to ask or prayers, pixie dust or whatever you want to give. Gary told me a couple of days ago that about 2 months ago he noticed a lump & he has blood in his urine. He says he did not tell me because he did not want me worrying during our trip :sad2:

I was able to get him in to the Dr. today & he is scheduled for a cat scan tomorrow. The Dr. said it could be 3 things, infection, kidney stones, or a tumor. Of course we are hoping it is one of the 1st two.

I know in my heart it is nothing serious(or at least I keep telling myself that). Please send the good thoughts & prayers for good test results.

Now who feels selfish after pouting about the trip not going as hoped :guilty:

Oh no! I hope the scan today goes well. You've got our prayers.

Now aren't you sorry you asked for more Disney pictures? :lmao:

NO way! I'm loving them all!

So my Dad needs surgery. The cat scan today was actually worse then the one last Friday. He will have surgery tomorrow to remove part of his intestine. He will need to stay in the hospital for another week.

My eating is out of control. I need to start eating healthy and exercise or I soon will not fit in my larger sized clothing. It is pathetic.

I still have to write my letter to ASMov. Hopefully that will happen tomorrow.

I also need to study so I pass my test on Monday.

I hope that all of you are doing well!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Lots of prayers for your dad during his surgery today. I hope that it does the trick for him. I know that it really helped one of my co-workers when he finally did the surgery. :grouphug: :wizard:

Going to get breakfast. Have a great day DDA....:dance3: pixiedust:

Looks like a great place to be! Glad you're enjoying it.

Deb - Hope everyone is feeling better soon. I'm sorry to hear about your uncle.

Tammi - Hope Alyssa's ready for school by tomorrow. :wizard:

Well, Terra and I made it to OK just after 7 last night. Not too bad considering our slow start. We ended up taking our car due to some craziness and difficulties working things out otherwise (argh, frustrating!), but it worked out well. Of course, that meant we had to drive Phil to work 10 miles the wrong way, then run to the store for something for him, then get breakfast in the drive through, then go back to Phil's work, then take the more round about way to the right interstate. One final stop at Walmart to get a portable DVD player and we were on the road. (Ours broke over a year ago and I decided that Terra being stuck in the back alone was a good time to replace it.)

We played several rounds of Disney trivia, played our own version of Disney 20 questions, had some sing a long sessions and generally had a good trip down. She didn't start commenting on how long it was taking until hour 5 of the 8 hour drive, but by then we'd already been in the car almost 7 hours because of the stuff we had to do first. So all in all it was good.

Today we're headed to the zoo. Catch you all soon!

Morning. Notice the good is missing  All 3 boys are home today. All 5 of us have the nasty cough now. Colby and Hunter coughed for hours last night which kept me up too. I guess they finally settled down around 2 AM. They were cool through the night, but the fevers were back this morning. Nick hasn't gotten up yet so I'm not sure where he is in the mix of things. Chris went to work, but I talked to him a bit ago and he didn't think he'd make it much longer.

Have a nice trip. I'm sure you will find loads of fun things to do.

Becky I hope your Dad's surgery goes well today. :wizard:

I had a weird dream about you last night. Apparently you decided that you wanted to have a baby and you were going to wait until May to see if "Mr. Right" came along, if he hadn't you were going to go it alone :confused3 I told you it was a weird dream.

I made it through both jobs :cool1: My cough sucks, but I'm hanging in there. Of course Chris is sure that he is dying :sad2: This is just crazy.

My mother stopped by the restaurant tonight to tell me that my Great Uncle passed away. He has been in a nursing home for nearly a decade and he was in his 90s. I know that his health has been deteriorating rapidly since the holidays so I'm sure he is in a much better place now. His granddaughter is expecting any day now. Isn't it odd how often one family member passes just as another is born?

I am sorry for your loss. I am doubly sorry your sickies are hanging around.

That fever thing is icky!! Poor Alyssa, I beat she is bored silly.

I want our old pediatrician back :sad1: The new rule is NO cough medicine at all for kids. If you heard my kids you would cringe. I finally just gave Delsym to Colby though I had resisted as told, but the poor kid needs a break. Hopefully we can all get a nap soon.

I wonder what the significance of May is? :confused3 :rotfl:

I hope you all get on the mend quickly!
