Thanks Stephanie, I was hoping someone here has stayed at OKW.

We've stayed at OKW a couple of times. It is one of our favorite DVC resorts. They are very roomy :thumbsup2

Colby and I took a nap after bowling. He's not feeling 100% yet and I'm doing anything in my power to not get sick. The older boys are now at play practice and I need to get to work in about an hour. I need to create a one page menu for a special party that we are having on Monday night. Hopefully I can get it done between 3 and 3:45 as I have no desire to stay later.

I think this will work. Here is a link to some pics from Eric's birthday last night. His sister never showed up. She decided to work late but couldn't call anyone to let them know that. :headache: But we had a good time without her!

Emma and I are headed out in a bit to a community Girl Scout skating night. I'm not sure if I am skating (haven't skated in years) but it'll be fun to hang out with the other moms who are going.

At some point I need to decorate Alyssa's birthday cake for her party tomorrow. And my DH has informed me that Vince and Tina (our neighbors) will be coming over later to hang out.

Enjoy the rest of your Saturday!!!!!

Everyone must be out enjoying the nice weather?

The seller has excepted our offer and now the paperwork will be drawn up and sent to Disney. We should know in 3 weeks if Disney accepts or refuses.

Its a 100 points at OKW with a Feb. use year, and they have last years points banked.

:thumbsup2

Me and Elin too! :thumbsup2

I made the mistake of putting on Sorcerer Radio. I want to go to WDW now!!!!

John wanted to do a long weekend in Sept. but we are gonna wait and see what flight prices are for next year.

I am thinking that OKW is a poplar DVC resort.

Nice Heidi. Fingers crossed!!:thumbsup2

Its been quiet today!
I got most of my packing done--just need to add a couple of things right before I leave--one thing to cross off my list!

I got some shopping done and it was absolutely beautiful outside!

I am not sure what I am doing tonight--either Atlantic City or out with my cousin..I was supposed to go out last night but claimed I was an old l ady and went to bed early--so i guessi shouldnt skip tonight ;)

We really enjoyed OKW, but the reason I chose it was the fact that it took fewer points, we stayed at a deluxe resort for less than it would have cost to stay at a value.

Robyn,
Loved the Birthday pictures, shame on you for not giving Lucy more cake. :lmao:

Here's Aubrey chillin in her boppy,

Is the universe out of alignment? I am Never the first one to post in the morning :rotfl: This is certain to be an unusual day.

I was already out of the house with no time to post. :rotfl:

Hope your day went well!

My brain (and ears) is mush! When I got home Kristin suggested that she and I go out to dinner so we headed to Cheeseburger in Paradise. We split their BBQ ribs and broccoli and I had two glasses of sangria. I am home and full!

Thanks for keeping the posting down today. I know you all were thinking of me and not the lovely weather outside when you held back the urge to write something! :rotfl:

Timothy has that same boppy!

Have I mentioned lately that Aubrey is darling???? Well, she is!

We had a nice day today. Once the kids had their rooms cleaned, we headed out for the afternoon. We had every intention of taking the kids to the Kennecott Copper Mine. It's the largest open pit mine in the world. It can be seen from space! (Sound familiar, Theresa???) Well, as we got in the car, we noticed a dark cloud just hanging over the mine. We called a neighbor that works there and found out that it was in white out conditions that afternoon. Real blizzard happening there. The funny thing was that everywhere else was clear and sunny. So, we had to come up with a plan B. We took the kids to the University of Utah's natural history museum. We decided to get a year long pass so we can go back many times. There are several exhibits we want to check out in the upcoming months. There were some people working in the dinosaur lab, and when they saw Jacob with his nose pressed up against the window, trying to see what they were doing, they invited him in. He, Katie and Alan got to go on a private tour of the "off limits" lab. They were working on cleaning up some dinosaur bones that had been brought in this week, so it was exciting for Jacob.

The twins had a great time with the hands on exhibits meant for the little ones. After that, we strolled through the mineral exhibits, and everyone found their birthstones. Very exciting! By this time, Timothy was hungry, so I excused myself to the car to feed him, while Alan and the kids looked around some more. They were kicked out as the museum closed, and the kids were thrilled to know that we could come back whenever we want.

We headed off to a pizza place for dinner, but the wait time was astronomical! We had forgotten that there was a basketball game at the university, which made things crazy! Instead, we headed to Alan's favorite sandwich place, Jimmy John's, and we split 3 sandwiches between the 6 of us. Very nice.

Now, we're home, and I'm trying to convince the kids to go to bed since we'll be losing an hour tonight. It's not going over very well with anyone but me!

Since things are quiet, I think I'll sign off and go do some reading. Alan is cuddling with the baby, so I'm going to enjoy some me time! Night all!
