thanks
when will next years trip be?
Bernadette - I can see how the DMV would make you feel sick, so might as well go on a day when you are already feeling ill.I hope you feel better soon!

Exactly!!! Plus I was already off work and didn't have to worry about that. They had a too small waiting room but I did get a seat. They had an automated board that told you what number should go to which cube down the hall. I greeted the guy with a friendly hello but he didn't even really make eye contact with me. BUT...his attitude completely lightened up when I paid with my Tink Disney Visa.
I usually put stuff like this off so I'm really glad I got it out of the way. I don't have to go for another 10 years now!
Vicki how did the interview go?
thanks BernadetteJ
Jennifer(TX)-we've been to Boma breakfast and really like it-we haven't gone too much because it is a bit difficult to get to if you're not staying at AKL and have no car. I'm not going with Joe only because we're staying CL so we can do breakfast at the lounge and I MUST do CP for breakfast and we are doing the sunrise safari with breakfast.
That does sound horrible!!!The last time I went it was on my birthday - the day my license was expiring. DH said if I let it go past the date they would make me take the test again. So I went to try to renew it while DS and one charge were at camp - I had the other charge with me. Turns out one of the DMV offices was completely shut down that day, and ALL of those people were rerouted to the office I was in.DH ended up going to get DS and my charge from camp, then he came to pick up my other charge from me, he took all 3 boys to get something to eat, and I was STILL sitting there. It was HORRIBLE.
Last year I was able to renew online - I think it's valid for 4 years.
The interview went very well. I think I had good answers to all their questions. The interview panel is the Director of our division, the former Director of our division (who left 6 months ago which created the acting position I'm working in now) and a woman I didn't know. The two guys are the ones that have been grooming me for this position. The final interviews are on Friday. I won't know until after then at least. The official paperwork has to go through a bunch of other areas so I might not have any info until mid-week next week.
How fun! Lucky you!Guess what came in the mail today?????

In our area they won't let the little kids off of the bus unless there is someone there to get them. I wouldn't think of letting my kids walk to the bus stop alone, and Nicholas is 9. Maybe it's just what I've seen, so I'm over-cautious, but oh well, they have to deal with it.I guess that I should do some laundry and a few other things before I become Mom's taxi.
Colby just got home from school and the oddest thing happened. I got a call from the school that they needed me to wave to the bus driver or she wouldn't let him off the busHe rides the bus everyday, but usually the other boys or his cousins are with him. Today it was just him so they wouldn't let him off
Very weird.
WOW! Yippie!Congrats, Terry & Stephanie!!![]()
