Jennifer, there is no way I would EVER take an extra kid to WDW. And in your situation, it would be hard to juggle 3 kids with only 2 adults. Good luck working it out!

Kristine - THAT is a big old box of crap.

I agree that I would never take someone else's small child to WDW, or anywhere for that matter. Alan and I have had to juggle 4 kids at DL, and this year will be 5, but they are our own kids, and know what the consequences to disobedience mean.....alone time at the hotel with a very angry parent. Not fun!

Maybe. Was it based on a true story? Do you know the people it was based on? Do you know more of the story than the movie told? If not, then no, probably not scandalous.

Scandoulous...okay...so the bartender at work, whom I've worked with for about 12 year...asks me if I've heard the lastest gossip. Of course I hadn't...he told me I'd better sit down, but I didn't have time...so anyway it turns out that his wife is divorcing him They have 2 children, both boys, one is 6 and one is 3. No one ever suspected any trouble, including my coworker, but apparently his wife has different ideas. She is moving out and doesn't even want custody of the boys. He says that she is totally f'd in the head right now, but refuses to get counselling. She doesn't work and has been a full time Mom/housewife for their entire marriage. The oldest boy has diabetes and the wife is almost totally deaf.

So there is my scandolous story for the day. Not quite a scandolous as our other friend divorce with the girlfriend and all, but still a shocker none the less.

No. Just really trashy. "What Happens in Vegas." It was a nice way to spend the morning without having to think.

Now for some humor...

This blonde woman was tired of all the stupid blonde stories. She decided to prove them all wrong. She decided that while her husband was at work the next day she was going to paint a couple of rooms of their house. So she got her supplies and when the husband left the next morning she put her plan into action. Well, the husband gets home from work and smells fresh paint. He was confused and became even more confused when he found his wife laying on the floor in a puddle of sweat. He rushed to her and discovered she was wearing her leather jacket AND her winter parka and had become exhausted and overcome by the heat. He asked her why she chose to wear that outfit to paint in and she explained...


I bought the supplies, I read the entire directions and it said...

Colby just got home from school and the oddest thing happened. I got a call from the school that they needed me to wave to the bus driver or she wouldn't let him off the bus He rides the bus everyday, but usually the other boys or his cousins are with him. Today it was just him so they wouldn't let him off Very weird.

That's almost scandalous. Need more details about the wife. Unfortunately, there are young children who will be collateral damage here, so that makes it more sad than scandalous.

I don't know what all you can see. I do know it is expensive, so I am probably NOT going to do it anytime in the near future.
EDIT: Actually, that's not nearly as expensive as I thought it was going to be. I thought the prices were almost in line with parasailing. Either I am confused or there is some other balloon thing I was reading about. Hmm. Maybe we will try it.

We like it. It is cheaper than the other buffets because there are no characters. We'll have breakfast twice there this year. Unless the evil new ADR system just refuses to work in our favor, which I am beginning to fear.

I am definitely feeling better today. I actually wanted to eat something for the first time in days. I must say that it has been much easier dieting with no appetite though. I may actually meet one of my monthly weight loss goals this year

Speaking of that, how is everyone doing with their New Year's Resolutions?

Chris and I are both on track. I'm not sure how much Chris has lost, but I'm down 17 lbs since the first of the year I've got 4 more to get to my content spot though I'm hoping to get lower this time.

No, I am totally off track now that the Half Marathon is over. I'm in the process of setting my next goal. It is definitely going to include getting rid of the roll around my stomach.
