Congratulations, Debbie, to you and your family. Brandon looks so happy. What does he think about her?
Congratulations!

Welcome to the world Miss Aubery. Debbie she is a cutie.

It is sleeting here! :scared: Winter is back! YUCK! I'm sure it won't amount to much, but just the thought makes me shiver. I'm ready for warm weather!

Debbie - how long will your DD be in the hospital?

/
Her doctor said she will go home Friday, I think she may go home tomorrow is she continues doing well.
I hope that's the case.

I need to get moving. Alyssa has her awards assembly this morning, so I need to get them out the door, then I need to be over at the school at 10. Have a great day everyone!

So your school won't finish up the weekend before Christmas? I'm sorry I made you look. :( If we go, I'll still take my kiddos out on Friday. Something may change between now and then. Makes no sense to heat the school up for a day and a half.

It will depend on the owner's decision. I am hoping that we would finish up on Friday, but in years past our private student recitals were held that Saturday or Sunday just before Christmas if any schools in the area were still in session. I will have to print out all the calendars for each district and start talking to her about it because I would like to make reservations soon (or try to get DVC points from my friend who might have enough to rent).

It would have been a while before I got a chance to see the new calendar if you hadn't pointed it out, so thanks so much for saying it was approved! :goodvibes

Debbie - Brandon is so right about his new job!

Deb - how is your kitty this morning?

it is?? :rotfl: you can see I am glued to my computer working away and I had no idea... I hope it stops before I have to go into work. Almost all the bad morning weather we have had this winter has been on Wednesday mornings. :confused3

ETA: The ground is white! well... not completely white, but you can tell it has been precipitating frozen stuff. Looks like snow now. SHEESH! Time for it to all go away, please.

Wow! One of you is hard enough to keep up with, I don't know if anyone could handle 3 of you! :lmao:

Eh, the other two just nod and follow. They don't generally have much input. ;)

Debbie - She's absolutely gorgeous! Well worth the wait for the picture! Congratulations, and good wishes to the new mommy, daddy and big brother!

What a sweet baby! Congrats! :goodvibes

Sorry about DS's troubles Elizabeth, don't count us out for August yet.

Sorry to make everyone worry, I'm the type that if my family are in the hospital I am there. Brandon really wanted to be with his Mom and sister too, so we stayed until we absolutely had to go, stopped and got a bite to eat on the way home. Came in and got Brandon his bath and did homework, (it's been a loonnnggg time since I've done homework) and got him in bed before I logged on.

Nope, not counting you out! :) I knew you were thinking about an August trip! I hope you are able to make it - we are going to have quite a group!

No nightmares last night, but The Knocker was in fine form at 4:45 AM. Just hammering away. It sounded like she was maybe hammering on the frame of the front door? Stupid woman.

Have a good day, all!

Elizabeth maybe its time to have a talk with the knocker and ask her what her problem is? :headache:

We're home from the Vet. We have a very sick kitty. It turns out that he has hyperthyroidism and his kidneys are only functioning at 50%. He may also have feline leukemia, but we opted not to run the test as they can't treat it anyway. As it turns out the bill was $259 for today and he is 73 years old in cat years. We have a med for the hyperthyroid, actually we have 2 at this point. One is chewable, but much more expensive. The other is a pill, but we will have to force feed him. We are going to try the pill first as $8/mth sounds much better than $30. He also needs to go on prescription cat food for the kidney issues. The cat food is either $1.50 per can or 3.38 per can depending on what he will eat. There is also a couple of kinds of dry food which is $28/bag. They want him to eat as much as possible as he lost a lot of weight. It sounds like it will cost us about $5/day to feed him now. For now we are trying the different foods to see what he will eat. I will need to pick up more on Friday once I know what works. He will also need bloodwork again in 3 weeks. She said he is actually really healthy considering how sick he is :confused3 If he responds as well as she thinks he will he has a great prognosis.

I'm sorry about your kitty. I hope the meds/foods work well.

Debbie -- Aubrey is gorgeous! the pics with Brandon are so cute. He looks so happy.

Tammi -- congrats to Alyssa on the awards ceremony!

Tom and Bernadette -- love the pics!

Why do we always have great weather during the week, and cooler weather over the weekends when my kids can actually get out and play? It's very frustrating!

Have a great day everyone. :)

We're getting more snow here, too! I'm so DONE with winter!!! I want it to be warm and green!!!

Welcome
Aubrey Marie!
