Robyn sounds like you had a good day! Good luck getting everyone up & out the door in the morning :wizard:

Gary & I are home alone, Riley is at a friends. So what are we having for dinner, salads :rotfl:

I am having a cobb salad(yum!) & Gary is having a chef salad. The deli at our store had them B1G1. Romantic huh lol

We are trying to decide what to have for dinner. DH doesn't feel like cooking pork chops, and it is cold outside so he doesn't want to grill. Apparently we are talking about soup & sandwiches. Yuck.

Robyn - I am glad you got some "me" time today!

Janet - I just fixed Tyson Pot Roast in a bag and Bob Evans mashed potatoes in a plastic tray for myself for dinner. I am not a happy camper. I think having salad with someone I like right now would have been preferable than pot roast and mashed potatoes in the same building with two people I am not particularly happy with at the moment. :sad2: Enjoy your evening!

Janet-where does the time go?? Garrett and his date look absolutely beautiful and happy together. The salads sounds scrumptious.

Elin-I am sorry your Valentines Day dinner isn't all that great. (Though I do like those Bob Evans mashed potatoes.:goodvibes )

Elizabeth- soup and sandwiches, huh??

I hate the fact that Jim gets to eat/reap the rewards of my cooking a special meal for the girls just because he happens to be here. :headache: I am so tired of thise situation.

On a happier note I got the girls a Disney Sing It for the PS2 at a deeply discounted price...I don't normally get anything for them.

I'm sorry Elin

Hope the evening gets better for you!

Elin, what happened?

I am a grump...

But I think I have a right to be! I was at work this morning by 9:00 and before I left Bob and Kristin suggested that we meet when I was done for dinner out. Now, you all know that we have not been dining out like we usually do, so this was something I was looking forward to.

I got a text from Kristin about 3:30 saying we weren't going to go out, that she was going to cook dinner. OK, I could deal with that. So I went home about 5:30 and Bob was sitting on the couch watching TV. Kristin was in bed taking a nap. I asked about dinner and Bob said it was up to Kristin... I waited an hour and she was still asleep so I asked Bob if he wanted to go get something to eat. He was not interested and said he was going to take a nap!

So... I looked around the kitchen and pantry and I honestly didn't see anything that I considered to be fixings for a "nice" dinner. What I saw was what I heated for myself. That made me angry and I am not very happy with the other two occupants of my house right now. I feel as if someone could have had something ready for me to eat when I got home from working all day. After all, Bob didn't work at all and Kristin only worked 3 hours.

OK, thanks for letting me grump away. I feel better now that I got it off my chest. But... I also have a hankering for something for dessert and there is nothing here.

Thanks Theresa, you are all watching my baby grow along with me

Sorry about your dinner
