Actually, I have been hungry for ice cream all day long. We have a very famous ice cream place here in town that is only open from mid-February through mid-November and this is opening weekend. Lots of my students today were being taken there after they finished their recitals.

Plus, when I got home the Food Network had a "Heavyweights" show all about the competition between Haagen-Daz and Ben and Jerry's...

So, ice cream sounds good right now!

Well, now DS is eating leftover spaghetti, so apparently it is "everyone for himself" for dinner tonight!

Elin, I agree that was crummy of your family to just completely bail.

We had Arby's for lunch, so we are still kind of full from that. DH made breakfast at 10 AM so all of our meals have been late today. Then I had 2 Hostess cupcakes around 4:30.
Now I am not really hungry, can't think of anything that sounds good, DH doesn't want to mess with the pork chops, you know how that goes.

We are huge fans of the Hormel cryo-vac meats - beef roast and pork loin are my favorites. Unfortunately we don't have any on hand. We do have Country Crock mashed potatoes, but I don't know what I would eat with them. Deli sliced turkey, maybe?
