It was cold and windy here today.

Everyone must be enjoying their Saturday. It's 67 degrees here, so I went out and washed the van. Got all the salty road spray off of it. Now I can see out the windows.

Bernadette - good luck planning your trips!

Wow, we were supposed to see the mid 30s today. 67 I think I'd have to lay out on the deck and catch some vitamin D. The aquacenter opens on Monday and I am as pale as a ghost. I'm glad you got outside.

I was strictly foollowing DDA orders and resting. I didn't really sleep, but I did lay down for a while. Right now I feel good, but I just had a snack so I'm hoping that doesn't make things worse

I took my salad out into the open foyer of our school and ate lunch in the sun. It was heavenly!

I'm going to venture out for a bit. I need to pick up groceries and apparently it is bad weather tomorrow. Hopefully we will be able to go to the Mountain, but otherwise we will be in tomorrow. There are lots of new shows coming on tomorrow too.

So I moved all my "old" (prior to August 2008) to my new external hard drives and deleted them off my internal hard drive. It was 70 GB-nearly 24,000 photos so I had room to upload the last of my trip photos. I took nearly 2,500 photos.

I need to contact SanDisc. One of 4GB memory cards that I brought with me wouldn't work. I had used it one time at home but it was missing the little tab that is used to lock (or actually unlock) the card so the card thinks it is lock so I can't write to it. It is a super fast card that retail for about $60 (I paid $15 after a rebate). I'm hoping they will replace it for me. I bought 3 of those cards for $35 each and then get a $60 visa card rebate. Two CM's at the Poly couldn't get the Visa to work but when I came home and called the number it says there is still the $60 balance on the card. I'll have to use it at the grocery store or something.

We had beautiful weather here today. There is probably 80% of the ground with no snow. Yesterday, it was VERY cold and we had lots & lots of snow.

I'm hanging out with Becky in the motel. She got down here last night. I was working in the "War" room fighting a virus attack. We got about an hour together last night. I was up and out of the room by 5:30 am. I was out of there by 1pm (I passed the reins over to someone else). It sounds like it didn't go so well in my absence. However, I had a great time with Becky. We went to lunch, then we went to see Hotel for Dogs. She is doing homework, we are watching TV and we are chatting.

I had a great time at lunch with Marci & Lindsay. After that I went to Macy's and bought a T-shirt for DS. I saw it the other day, but there were several in his size and I wanted to come back with a coupon.

DH was hoping to find a flash for his new camera at Circuit City, but the "liquidation" price was $140. No flash for DH.

Becky is doing well. She has her moments of sadness but for the most part she is hanging in there. They are not engaged anymore. She is barely talking with him.

Well, I am sorry that she is going through a rough time, but I am pleased that it is happening now instead of a couple of years down the line when there might have been children to consider. I hope she continues to be strong and look to the future!

I think I bought those card on black friday too. I haven't gotten the rebate yet though Actually I had forgotten all about it. I'll have to check into it now.
