Heidi, I just realized you only have 12 days left!

Have a magical trip!

I am thinking maybe a necklace :confused3
If it's given with the intention of her wearing it to the Swirl, unless you know what the neckline of the dress is, I'd stay away from a necklace. Maybe earrings or a bracelet.

Good morning...

Here are a few pics from Em's Father/Daughter dance last night. Em and Eric had a great time. Thank god for Gail, Emma and I raided her closet!

Please send a little prayer up for my girls, especially Avery. This is just getting ridiculous. She just thrashes and cries and writhes in her sleep, even right out of my arms if I try to rock her, with what appears to be belly pain, but who really knows? I hate that I can't do anything for her! And I hate that none of us have slept in 3 days (including naps)! :guilty: If she's in the pain that I've been in (and others I know), I just can't imagine ... :sad2:
Poor Avery.:grouphug: Hope everyone is feeling better now!

Breakfast at school was really nice. There were a lot of homemade dishes that parents provided. Things like quiche, hash brown potatoes, fruits, donuts, danishes, etc. etc. Each child was called up and presented with a medal by the guidance counselor. The AP also gave them a certificate that was made and signed by everyone in their class, about why they were selected for their Honesty. She was so proud of herself. Here are a few pictures.

How cute!

Back from the doctor. I have a bad case of tendonitis! Apparently, there's not much they can do for it, except use a little velcro band just under the elbow. I'm still not clear what it's supposed to do, but I'm wearing it. I'm supposed to try not to use my right arm (I'm right handed), and ice it and take tylenol. Ugh! I guess I'm glad it's not a fracture, but I was hoping for a quick fix to take the pain away, and the doctor told me it could last months. Not what I want to hear!
pixiedust: Hope you can find some relief for that!

I survived both jobs, but my tummy is still tied in knots. I'm trying to decide if I want to eat or not. I haven't had a bite since 3 PM. I keep wondering if it is really worth it.:confused3
Sorry to hear you're still not feeling well. I haven't been 100% since Joe got sick on his birthday 1/10. Now I've got a nasty head cold. Hopefully I can rest a bit this weekend. I never did get my Christmas stuff packed away so maybe I can pick away at that slowly. And work on my trip report and getting my photos organized on my PC.

Another great day here! Much warmer and nicer! I think the cold weather is out of here for the duration of our trip now!
Glad to hear the warmer weather has arrived!!! Can't wait to see more photos!

Looks like they had a blast!

Robyn, that looks like a fun night! BTW, I see a HM in the balloons. :goodvibes:

Was that for the whole school, or just certain grades?

Debbie- Love the shower pics!! Your DD looks fabulous!

Tom- Glad you all are enjoying your trip!

Glynis- Sorry your elbow can't be a quick fix. pixiedust:

Deb- I am so sorry you are still feeling blech. pixiedust:

Tammi- Loved the pics of Alyssa! She does look so grown up.

Elin- Enjoy your day.

Thanks, Eric said it was a lot of fun. That is once they all convinced Emma to get out there and dance. She was afraid people were going to laugh at her. :sad1: But she got over that and had a good time.

It was put on my another troop (Junior) and it was for the whole community of GS's, so Daisies on up.

I see that HM now, too funny.

Good Morning.

Robyn the dance looked fun. I used to country line dance so I'm sure I could have outfitted her pretty easily

Chris took the boys to bowling with the thought that I could sleep in this morning. Of course they weren't quiet and about 2 minutes after they finally left the phone rang. I missed it of course, but realized that I'd better hit the potty quick :scared: I ended up with a message from a co worker that doesn't want to work tonight. I declined as I'm hoping to rest up this weekend and kick this crap (pun intended). I'm sure I ran a fever all night as I had chills at times. I even woke up covered in hives at one point :confused3 I think I itched for a couple of hours. I'm assuming that my body heated up with the fever then cooled off :confused3 I really don't know, but it was weird. I need to get laundry done, but otherwise it should be a low key day.
I hope everyone else is healthy. This has been a rough start to the year for me. The rest of the family is fairing well though :confused3

Oh, I see. I thought it was a school function.

Deb - get lots of rest today! :wizard:

That's why we raided Gail's closet! The only thing of Em's was her skirt, tights and cowgirl hat that doesn't fit her any longer!

I sure hope that you can kick the crap this weekend. :grouphug:

Oh she is! Garrett told me that she bought him a gift & she really hopes he likes it. He now feels bad & wants to get her something. This dance is becoming very expensive lol

I am thinking maybe a necklace :confused3

It sounds an awful lot like prom.....

how about earrings?

I am so sorrry Deb that you are still not feeling 100%

Eeeck Colby just came running in with a bloody nose. I know where it started as I followed the blood trail :scared: Maybe I can get a job as a CSI? I think we got it almost stopped, he's got a wad of gauze in his nose now. Poor kid. He has no idea why it started bleeding. I'm guessing dry air or maybe he picked it :crazy2:

Debbie-don't know how I missed the shower in my last quote-LOVED the cake and fruit plate!!!

Bernadette - So have you booked your August WDW trip yet? ;)
:rotfl: No but DH told me I should go adult only to F&W Fest. Dorinda asked if she could go in May and then asked if she could bring her DH. In a moment of weakness I said yes.:scared: I asked her the next day if she had mentioned it to her DH and she said no. I told her not to. I told her about the extra adult fee (she didn't offer to give me any thing toward the room other than that). I told her they should go when they want NOT in May. I'm hoping she got the hint because I'll have to be more blunt if she didn't. This is supposed to be a trip for me and my child. We travel well together but when it is her, her DH, me & my child the child always wants to do everything with them as they never see them.

The other friend who went on the disaster of the CR trip was in her office when we talking and I told her she'd like AKL CL but she couldn't come because I would NEVER see Joe. Joe LOVES her! I'm hoping Dorinda got the hint.

I DO owe her something for picking us up at the airport around midnight but I don't think I owe her my trip. I did tell I would take a taxi so she did have an out. I need to make her something she wants and I'm going to make her DH a Disney calendar with some of my photos-he's a real Disney fanatic. I can start with any month.

The biggest thing I would get out of her and her DH coming would be a male to take Joe to the men's room. I would just be giving up way too much for that small convenience.

Everyone must be enjoying their Saturday. It's 67 degrees here, so I went out and washed the van. Got all the salty road spray off of it. Now I can see out the windows.

Bernadette - good luck planning your trips!
