Remember watching the cartoon where the old guy is sitting in the rocker and his foot is propped up on a pillow? The big toe is all red and throbbing. That is how my back feels. I stayed home today cause it was acting up again.

It seems when the weather is changing, it gets all tight and really hurts. Of course when I am home, I can take the muscle relaxants. Really frustrating.

We had to get a new router for our internet service. It seems that our one cat likes to lay on the router for the warmth and then it would fall off of the tv stand. today it finally decided to quit. It just took over an hour to get the new one hooked up. Hal was not a happy camper.

Oh no -- I hope your back is better today. Did you buy a warranty on the router? Sounds like with kitty you might need it.

Gary & I went shopping yesterday, he wanted some new jeans. He ended up getting those along with a couple shirts & a pair of shoes. When he showed me the shoes I thought they were the ugliest things Once he put them on they looked pretty good though. I wasn't planning on getting anything, but I did find 2 tops & pair of slip on shoes on clearance that I liked. Total cost for my 3 items, $15

It sounds like you got some great deals.

Dragging myself out of bed this morning was a chore. I am so not a morning person. I wonder how long it will take for my body to adjust? I've been in bed by 10 PM too Of course I'm waking up a million times during the night and checking the clock. Hopefully I will get into a routine quickly.

2 of the three fingers that I hurt are killing me. Both of the missing skin areas are on the joints and everytime I bend them I want to cry. Of course bandaids won't stay on so I just need to tough it out. I keep thinking that they will feel better tomorrow, but tomorrow never comes

I need to get ready. TTYL

Deb -- it does get more routine to get up early, but I don't know that it gets easier. Just make sure to try to get the same amount of sleep at night as before. For your fingers -- try that athletic stretchy tape on your fingers -- it comes in a bunch of different colors and should stay on easier. I hope they feel better soon.

That is so sweet! I hope all the deals on the houses work out well today.

We had our garage door fixed yesterday. That along with my dental work made it an expensive day. Hopefully today will be a little cheaper on our budget. I woke up to a strange knot on the right side of my neck. You can see it, it's so large. Any idea what can swell up on a neck that large?

We had our garage door fixed yesterday. That along with my dental work made it an expensive day. Hopefully today will be a little cheaper on our budget. I woke up to a strange knot on the right side of my neck. You can see it, it's so large. Any idea what can swell up on a neck that large?

First of all you need to explain to normal people what corn risotto and quinoa tabbouleh are? I have no idea what either of these are.

Sorry. Corn risotto is a dish made of corn, arborio rice and some onion and cayenne pepper. Very creamy and yummy. Quinoa is a grain and I would make a tabbouleh (salad) out of it.

I think I've decided to do the risotto, as I can make it in the crock pot and not have to do a lot of work on it.

The Carnevale di Venezia (Carnival of Venice) has arrived at the Tutto Italia Ristorante, located in the Italy pavilion at Epcot!

Venice's Carnival began in the 11th century, and the wearing of masks and costumes was well established by the early 1400's. The practice of wearing masks for disguise reached its peak in the 18th century when Venetians of different social classes used Carnevale as an excuse to mix and mingle incognito.

Masks will also be a part of the Tutto Italia celebration - Guests will have the opportunity to see a special mask display inside the restaurant and the waiters will be wearing their own. Feel free to bring your own too, or select a mask to purchase on location!

A special lunch and dinner menu will be available during the celebration. Guests can choose one of two pre-selected appetizers, entrees and desserts. A special performance by “Viva Venezia” will occur each evening inside the restaurant. The musical trio, known as the “strolling musicians,” will serenade Guests with traditional Venetian music.

Lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. - $19 per person, plus tax and gratuity
Dinner from 4:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. - $28 per person, plus tax and gratuity


Tables in Wonderland members will benefit with their 20% discount on food and beverage. No substitutions on specialty menu offerings will be allowed, and reservations are highly recommended. Guests may call (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463).

I read in the most recent DVC News update that the bus loop for AKL/Kidani will be this:
Buses will pick up at Kidani first, then Jambo. The DTD bus will pick up Jambo first, then Kidani. So people staying at Kidani can ride the park buses to Jambo, and the DTD bus back to Kidani.

Plan accordingly.

Just got airfare for my trip, Saturday September 5th checking out Sunday September 13th. Night of Joy is the 11th & 12th.

Awww I'm glad that you still feel that way. Don't tell Chris, but I still have a crush on him too...and he has been losing weight so he is even more sexy. He just asked me on a date for the 22nd anniversary of our first date

It is probably a lymph node. I had one that gets to be the size of a golf ball. It usually swells up just before I get sick That you are not getting sick.



I'm on a break and it is nearly time to hit my next rotation. It hasn't been too busy so I't not bad.

Good morning!! (Hey for 40 more minutes it is still AM here )

I spent the morning on the phone warning my references that they should be getting calls this week.

My volunteer who has been battling breast/face cancer has to have brain surgery this Thursday AM as they have found a spot on her brain that they are worried about. This woman has fought courageously and with such grace, I just feel so bad for her. So please be praying for Carol and her family Thursday.

Abi has a band concert tonight and next Tuesday, Cassidy has a band concert and Abi a choir concert. We only have another year of conflicting schedules...

Now I am going to go take my shower....one of the perks of being jobless.
