Tia what a situation you have been put in. As difficult as it may be I would have to say something myself, you need a day off. Seems to me that Erin is assuming more than she should & maybe taking a little advantage of your kindness.
I hope this can all be worked out without any hurt feelings
That is so very well said, Janet, that I have to quote you and agree. Tia - You have to have time with your family. JUST your family. Erin will have to understand, although I already know she will be nasty about it. Good luck.
And I see that Phil
was sick today. I hope he feels better soon.
Thanks for the thoughts everyone! It helps to know I'm not just overreacting. Unfortunately, I missed them today as we were looking at houses and they didn't stay long like they usually do. I'll have to call her sometime this week. Not the ideal way (I was looking forward to having them both in the conversation and Mom close by for back up if needed. LOL)
Phil is doing much better today. He had the nasty stomach virus yesterday. By evening it was just a headache, slight fever and other achiness. Today he's feeling pretty good. Just the headache remains.
My SIL still does a lot of the cooking for the family. I've mentioned before that she's a SAHM. When she and my brother moved out of my parents' house (they had been staying there while they found a house -- they had previously lived in Tyler, Texas) my Mom told her that they'd pay for the groceries if SIL continued cooking. So, she gets free groceries and people to help clean-up, and we get home-cooked food from 1 to 5 times a week, depending on all of our schedules. She normally has two dishes, and one will be lower in fat. Ex. -- chicken and beef, salmon patties fried and baked etc. Whenever one of us does WW, she will cook WW recipes as the lower fat thing, so I always look for recipes for her and buy cookbooks. It works out great for us, and she likes to eat healthier and enjoys the dishes.
I love that plan! I would totally do the same thing if any of us were on the same schedule.
I am freaking out

Craig went from not wanting to go to WDW to now wanting to go in March!

We're already in the 90 day window, it's too close for my planning. LOL We need to wait for our tax return so we won't be able to book till we get that back, so that will put us about 4-5 weeks out from the actual vacation.
Go for it! You can make dining and other ressies before you actually book. Just call tomorrow and get some things locked in. Then, when you've got the money in hand, book it all up, pack your bags and off you go!
okay prayers needed for a co-workers children and grand children as a co-worker passed away yesterday and one of her kids found her in her bed. It was an emotional ending to a stressful day yesterday at work.
Prayers for them all, and for you and your coworkers. What a tough situation.
Can one of you obsessive planners explain to me why I am so hesitant to make plans for this summer. I always have our summers planned out years in advance. heck I can tell you our plans for 2010, 2011 and 2012, but I'm not comfortable committing to THIS summer

Chris is right there with me. Nothing has struck us as a must do.
Part of it is the financial side, but another part I "think" is that I expect to see some incredible vacation deals popping up. If I committ and put money down on something then I wouldn't be able to jump if an unbelievable offer arises. Does that make sense. Is is okay to not make summer plans
Because none of it is exactly what you want to do. I would do what you're doing, though. Keep running plans, prices and ideas. If you stumble upon something that looks great, go for it! Otherwise, just keep thinking of ideas, doing some planning and hold out for a good deal on a trip that you really want to do. Remember, the cruise thing came up last minute and it was perfect! Something will come up and that you'll be dying to jump on, I just know it.
Is anyone else waiting for W-2s to arrive. We would love to get our taxes out of the way, but we're still waiting. I'd like to make sure we are getting a refund and see what that refund might be.
Me! I would love to get ours done. It would help me know what I have to play with for the new house...what furniture, if any, I might be able to afford right away, etc. We're just waiting on Phil's now, but then again, that's the main one.
