DDA Chapter 17

Thanks thats good to know.
We are nervous because you only read of the negitive that has happened. People who had no problems never seem to post.

We've used it a few times with no problems. In fact Chris and the boys used it once and I went to get the rental car. They beat me to the resort :thumbsup2

Hmm.

I just got an e-mail from a family we know from DS's school. They bought a house to use as a rental, and they are asking if we are interested in looking at it. The house would be the same price as what we pay in rent + storage unit. We would need to buy a dryer, but the other appliances are included. It sounds really nice.

If we were closer to the end of our lease I would JUMP at this. I am worried about what kind of penalty we will owe if we break our lease. :scared: We still have 5 months left, so we really are nowhere near the end. I called DH and he thinks we should definitely go take a look at the house and go from there.

I would say to look at it, but also call your rental company to see what penalties you might incur. that way you'll be fully armed with knowledge.

I'm sorry. Have you tried those drops for excess ear wax? We used to have to do that with Sister. She had these TEENY little ear canals that were impossible to clean.
:wizard: I hope tomorrow will bring some jobs to apply for!

I have seen a "shaver" thing that is supposed to take the pills off of sweaters, but I have never tried one. :confused3

yes I use Debrox....this time it doesn't seem to helping. :headache:

DH thinks it is absolutely worth looking at the house. If we like it we can move forward with finding out about early termination penalties and so forth. If we see the house and it won't work for us then we don't need to worry about it. :rotfl2: It is not in the zone for DS's current school, so we would have to find out about getting a transfer order to keep him where he is. I don't know how hard that is. We would also need to know about the monthly utility costs, renters insurance, etc. to make sure we aren't getting in over our heads.

The pediatrician used hydrogen peroxide to get the blockage out of Sister's ear. Not sure how you would go about that at home, though. They poured peroxide into her ear until they were able to extract the big hunk of wax. It was the size of a small rock.:scared:

our renters insurance is actually less here than at grandparents house (it's technically renter's insurance because the external is handled by the HOA).
Good luck in moving forward.

that's basically what Debrox is....in funnel form. You should see the crud that came out when the nurse did it at the dr's office...they gave up after half hour and 3 boulders from one ear and 2 from another. :rotfl:

May have to get one. The funny thing is I have washed and dried this blanket before and it didn't pill, now all of a sudden it does.

Thanks, now I know what to look for. I was afraid to ask a store employee for a pill remover, could you imagine the look I would get?

you need a de-piller I think they are fairly common in stores...I swear I have seen them in Walgreens

Thank you, I am feeling better about using the service.

Did you wash it with anything else? I have a black sweater that I can't wear until I find my de-piller since I accidently washed it with a white dish towel...

I have no idea if the rate would go up or down. :confused3 I bet it would go UP, because we have both automatic fire sprinklers and an intrusion alarm in our apartment and I bet the house doesn't have either one. On the other hand, maybe the rates for an apartment are higher because if one catches fire then the whole building is likely to go. Who knows how they determine those things? :confused3

So Colby and I had a nap. I have been very crampy today and just wanted some down time. I hate getting older. I never used to have cramps. I've always enjoyed naps though :thumbsup2 I'm going to get the snowboard clothing out now and make sure each has enough layers for sub zero mountan weather. Then I'm off to work for 5 PM

Thanks! :)

So I was reading some reviews of Great Wolf last night and a couple of people mentioned getting a AAA discount. Hmmm. I just called them and I got $44 back! That will come in handy if I have to pay the $60 upcharge for having 8 people in the room! :thumbsup2 I didn't even think to ask about a AAA rate when I booked the room. The guy said there are no "local resident" rates, he didn't tell me there was a AAA rate. He also didn't offer to send me a confirmation e-mail, which the girl today did offer. Very cool!

Every little bit helps!

I think I am going to nap also....8 hours in 3 nights do not make enough sleep.

Elizabeth if you all really like the house, I hope you can make it work somehow with having your present lease :wizard:
