We're watching biggest loser too
There are some really big people on there this time.

I was hoping to go for longer, but that might just have to do. It certainly would give me an excuse to go when I can get the most bang for my buck meeting up with people from the DDA.August 9-15 at WDW? Anne Marie and I will be there that week, and possibly Janet. And Debbie & Richie if we can convince them! And Robyn if I can convince her. And any other DDA I can ensnare.

Can he use you, or the DDA, as a source? We are doing science fair, of course.![]()
The only thing left is bibliography. DS said his science teacher said they can have until Friday to turn the projects in, but I want him to take it in tomorrow. It's not like the project would be any better if he waited 2 more days to turn it in. The board is all done, the written stufff is done, the bibliography is the last hurdle. The thing is, he didn't use 5 sources so we need to get creative to come up with 5 sources to list.
Crafts with meaning.
There are lots of things you can do with yarn. You could glue yarn to the outside of an empty can to make a pencil holder. You can use the plastic canvas. You can do houses, kleenex box covers, ornaments...etc. You could uses old socks with a needle and thread and odds and ends to make sock puppets and have the kids do a little impromtu puppet show. Bead projects are cheap, easy and practical. We did key chains with the boy scouts. They liked the letter beads as they could incorporate names into the key chains. Can you tell that I'm just listing things that I've done with scouts![]()
when I cleaned up the basement I found remenants of all these projects

I just realized that I forgot to thank Robyn and Terry for the ornament exchanges that they sent. Leslie's package arrived just as we were leaving for my dad's house, so she opened it in the car. She was thrilled with the Hannah Montana ornaments, and all the goodies, too. She did share with her siblings, so they were happy campers as well.
Terry sent the cutest Winnie the Pooh ornament for Timothy. It is so darling! We just love the classic Pooh, and his side of the boys room is all classic Pooh! The 4 parks ornament is just wonderful, too! I hope to someday get to all 4 parks. Thanks so much!
I wish that I had pictures of them, but Alan put all the Christmas stuff away before I had a chance. Please know that we are thrilled with all the ornaments we received this year.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!

Liquid starch is a liquid substance you use to starch clothing. You should be able to find it at Walmart with the laundry soap.
The Oobleck is awesome, it is like a solid until disturbed then it acts like a liquid. It is actually a solid liquid non-Newtonian substance. If you make a large enough container of it you can run on it.

Time warp has some awesome footage of Oobleck.
You could also make lip gloss.
vegetable shortening and Kool aid
or Vaseline and Kool Aid or cocoa powder
Janet- Good luck with the teeth. Enjoy the trip to Ohio, I would love to go to Cleveland, but I would need to go to the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame.
Kristine- I hope the car gets fixed with not much cost
It is icing here. Who knows what will happen.
Biggest Loser is on, they already have an ambulance on its way.
For those of you dieting, cover your eyes.
I'm having cake AND vanilla ice cream. I wish I could share with you. YUM!

I've consumed my points for the day. I even managed to fit in my milkActually fat free yogurt with 1/4 cup Kashi cocoa granola. Very good. I'm not a big yogurt eater, but it was actually pretty good. I'm trying to add different things into my diet. I usually won't try new things, but I'm trying to turn over a new leaf.
This darn antibiotic is kicking my butt, I can't wait until Friday when I'll be done. I've been on it now since the Monday before Christmas. It is giving me wicked heartburn or what feels like heartburn. I swear the pill gets stuck in my esophagus and then radiates this burning pain through my chest. UGH.
Did I not warn you!?
An Ohio trip, huh? Really, if you're going to do an Ohio zoo, you've chosen the wrong one...![]()
