Glad you got your package.

The Mickey head ornaments are made out of flour/salt dough, cut out with a Mickey head cookie cutter and then baked, and painted.

They are part of the reason all my packages were delayed. I had painted them and then dropped some on the floor and they broke. So I had to make others. I hope everyone's made it in one piece.

yes mine were. I might have to try that next year.

Guys, I know it is late, but we could sure use some prayers right now.

Leighanna hasn't been feeling well, and we thought that maybe she had a stomach virus. Well, tonight she still hasn't been able to keep anything down or had no desire to eat.

We took her to the ER and they ran some tests, and feel that she is having an appendicitis. They are transferring her to Dayton Children's hospital tonight and are going to either operate or check further.

I just came home real quick to grab a couple of things, and ask for your prayers.

I will let you know how all goes.

It's still snowing here

I worked last night in the bar. It was slow as I fully expected. Oh well, it gave me a chance to refresh my bartending skills. When I got last night Chris was watching Back to the Future 3. I sat down and Colby came in and climbed into my lap. He sat on me for at least an hour and we watched the movie together. Hunter even came in at some point. I am not a sit down and watch a movie while doing nothing else kind of person, so I really had to make myself sit there. I did enjoy all the snuggle time I got up this morning fully planning to go grocery shopping, only to find out the storm had already started, or maybe the last one hadn't finished I had to go anyway. My DM ended up going with me as we wanted to go to Market Basket which is a town a bit farther away. We ended up going to Market basket and Super Walmart. We were surprised by how many people were out. Now I'm home and I should be cleaning.

I think we've decided on finger foods for Christmas Eve. My mother wants finger rolls and puffs so we'll do that with some other finger foods. Nick requested a lasagna and since my Mother can't say no to him I'm sure there will be lasagna too. I'll make Glynis' French Toast Bake (which I need the recipe for) for Christmas morning. I think I'll do a plain one and a second one with bananas, hoping that it is a bit like tonga toast. I'll bring that and bacon to my Parent's house for Christmas morning. We'll have a ham dinner on Christmas night.

Do you want the recipe for the peach one? I have several (and I keep finding more that we like), and can give you many recipes! I have done the peach recipe with strawberries and blueberries and it works well, so I would imagine bananas would be good, too. I'll PM you the recipe.

I'm so upset that I didn't finish the thought. She was having chest pains and trouble breathing again. She was in the hospital Friday through today but she is home now. Chuck plans to head over tomorrow to check on her.

Chuck's brother is on the phone now with him. Amazing! He "supposedly" calls the cell phone on Friday but now he calls the home phone after mom is out of the hospital. Of course, he couldn't do that while she was in the hospital because then he wouldn't have "control" of the situation. Chuck is talking to his brother like all is fine. I'm almost as upset with Chuck as I am his brother.

No, I was with Princess last year at Christmas so it isn't my first with her.

DH and I were talking about Christmas dinner. We have no clue.

I said 'd try to post pics of our stay at Great Wolf Lodge, etc but I am in the middle of being motivated to work off my to-do list, so I can't promise anything.. especially with Christmas coming up. I posted some on the blog, but most pics of the girls "swimming" are in the picasa album, if you're interested. Sorry to be so lazy/busy, but it takes twice as long to get them into photobucket! If you wait until this evening, a much cuter set of pictures will post that's scheduled for like 8pm or something. I think they're already in Picasa, too, though (just candids from today, in cute gymboree christmas outfits )

Vicki - sorry with the issues with BIL and Chuck. I can understand why you are so upset. I'm just glad she is home from the hospital and all is okay. Don't forget to pick up your meds tomorrow. :thumbsup

Deb - Yikes. That looks like some miserable snow.

I've been so productive today. The truffles and pecan cups are made. The cut out cookies have been bakes, but we have to frost them yet. I also got all the beds changed and washed, plus 3 additional loads of laundry. I feel so bad that we didn't go to church today. I'm sure Alyssa would have been okay, but with her episode last night I just wanted to keep her in.
