I just got a text from Elin. They were able to fly standby on the earlier flight, and they are shopping at Albertsons now. I'm so jealous!

Chuck did have a voice mail from his sister-in-law Friday night on his cell phone. I'm still upset that they didn't call us back on our home line before she was actually checked out of the hospital but at least they did leave a mesage. I've told Chuck we are going to have to call daily because we can't trust that we will know what is going on otherwise.

When Chuck was talking to his brother, he said "If you need anything, just give me a call and I can head over and help." I didn't hear his brother's response but Chuck then said "I know you can handle things but you don't have to do it on your own." Exactly as I suspected, his brother is intentionally trying to keep us out of it.

Vicki - sorry with the issues with BIL and Chuck. I can understand why you are so upset. I'm just glad she is home from the hospital and all is okay. Don't forget to pick up your meds tomorrow. :thumbsup

Deb - Yikes. That looks like some miserable snow.

I've been so productive today. The truffles and pecan cups are made. The cut out cookies have been bakes, but we have to frost them yet. I also got all the beds changed and washed, plus 3 additional loads of laundry. I feel so bad that we didn't go to church today. I'm sure Alyssa would have been okay, but with her episode last night I just wanted to keep her in.

Deb sorry to hear you are still getting snow. It is just freezing here, but we are suppose to get more freezing rain Tuesday followed by more snow on Wednesday. I am already tired of winter & today is officially the 1st day I haven't posted more pictures of the kitchen yet, but I will soon

While I was at work someone thought it would be ok to cross the yellow tape at the burned down building across the street & help themselves to what beer was left The police showed up & arrested him, now his car is parked out front.

Gary took pictures of the whole thing, it is pretty funny. This guy had frozen quarts of beer sitting on top of his car. I am really surprised that anything survived the fire & why would you want frozen beer anyway! I need to push my idiot button quiet a few times for that one

Thanks for the Christmas cards.

I think I am sick. My whole body aches, my throat is killing me, I have been coughing on and off, have a runny nose, have a fever. I am sitting here in socks, pants, long sleeve shirt, polar fleece vest, hooded sweathshirt and covered in a blanket and am still cold. I never leave socks on when I am home and have had them on all day.

I hope that everyone is well.

I hope Leighanna does not need surgery.

I'm so upset that I didn't finish the thought. She was having chest pains and trouble breathing again. She was in the hospital Friday through today but she is home now. Chuck plans to head over tomorrow to check on her.

I am so sorry his family is having trouble get along. I do hope your MIL feels better quickly!!

Chuck's brother is on the phone now with him. Amazing! He "supposedly" calls the cell phone on Friday but now he calls the home phone after mom is out of the hospital. Of course, he couldn't do that while she was in the hospital because then he wouldn't have "control" of the situation. Chuck is talking to his brother like all is fine. I'm almost as upset with Chuck as I am his brother.

I hate when Jim does that too. I've been known to do it also....I am trying to be a good girl and get it off my chest as it goes on there but some habits are hard to give up.

Elizabeth-the house for sale isn't online-he's trying to sell it himself. Congrats on your new Bagallini-I agree that the small daypack is kind of useless. I've got to look for something for my camera. I think I would wear it most of the time. I think I have a case that will fit it so I just need a case for my 2nd lens. Maybe I could find a good deal after Christmas? Congrats to DH on the battery deal! And on the TV thing.....I bought DH a HDTV for father's day-it is a flat screen-smallish-like 19" that is on a stand. BUT...the converter box I got for my OLD (10+ years) 13" tv works great too!!!

Kristine-glad you made it to/from your get away safely. The pictures looked fun. Loved the ginger bread houses. My friend gave me some parts for the kids to make them. I guess I might have to take Wednesday off.

From my understanding, it's for anywhere you can buy merchandise in the park your in on your birthday.

Just the park you go to? Can't go to Downtown Disney? I don't think you can use at some of the shops in Epcot. I think you can use if for recreation.

Tammi-sorry for your flood. Hope Alyssa (in her cute new haircut) is all better now.

Marci-congrats to Andrew on his great grades. Hope the last 2 exams went well too.

Janet-how scary about the fire!

Last Christmas, my siblings and I gave mom and dad a brick in the plaza at Disneyland. It was installed in May, and dad drove mom down so they could see their brick. It was the last trip mom ever took. I'm so glad that we did that before she died. It was their favorite gift ever. So, we are all looking forward to seeing their brick and going on her favorite rides, and having her favorite snack (large, soft pretzel).

I called Bernadette this morning. They are busy getting ready for Christmas. They're hoping to get their tree up today. We are hoping to get together at a museum after Disney on Ice next Friday. Now I need to buy tickets and firm up our plans A little Boston DDA meet

It was great talking to you! Children's Museum sounds fun and now that I know thanks to Tia that I can walk there from South Station we'll likely take the train from Cohasset. Service started 10/31/07 and we haven't ridden yet so that alone will be fun for the kids.
