Hmm. Word on the Dining board is that ADRs are reverting back to 90 days. Permanently. Not sure how I feel about that. I guess I feel like it is a really good idea to hand that off to IPO, which I was planning to do anyway.

That will be interesting especially if they keep having free dining.

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to you all!

Thank you everyone. :)
He is home now and we are staying in!

The DIS clock is off, its 2:55 now.

Can someone send me the DDA email list? I did an email Christmas card and letter this year, and I would love to send it out. I have so enjoyed all the DDA cards in the mail. The kiddos and Debbie's Disney Castle card have all been so beautiful! my email is dwnewton@bellsouth.net

Thanks!

I'm caught up, and I'm so sorry to read about all the viruses and ailments floating around the DDA! Hopefully everyone is on the mend! :wizard:

Matthew threw up all over his crib on our first night in Huron, but thankfully, it seemed to be a pleghm/eating grapes practically whole issue rather than a bug. My kids have had off and on runny noses since Thanksgiving...I'm really hoping we'll have nice Florida weather next month!

We finally got our Christmas cards out today. Now we know it takes JCPenney weeks to deliver a photo CD. We still have a few presents to wrap, but since Santa doesn't wrap his presents, we shouldn't be up too late tonight.

I'm making a pork roast and smashed red potatoes for dinner and we'll go to the 7:30 p.m. church service. Tomorrow, Kevin's mom's not expecting us until 4 p.m. so we should have a relaxing morning/afternoon with presents and of course, watching the Disney Christmas Parade!

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas! Please take care and be safe, if you're traveling! :goodvibes

Normally I wouldn't ask but if anyone is around and has any spare pixie dust please sent it this way. John just called he is on his way home from work, but there is so much ice and it is very foggy.

Thank you.

you've got all of my spare!!

Well we now have a dilemma....
Bob is a machinist - at work he takes his ring off and puts it in his locker. Today he couldn't find his ring. He looked for 3+ hours at work. He's totally depressed now...
He want's to call the homeowners insurance immediately. I want to go up and look again. My thought being that you're so stressed during that initial search you just toss everything everywhere. No one will be in there until Monday. Am I thinking the right way? I just don't want him stressed for the holiday weekend and we know that the insurance will cover his ring. Or should I just let him call and be done with looking?

So since I have to work tomorrow, Santa came to our house this morning. Olivia told me about an hour ago that this was the best Christmas ever:lovestruc

Guess what my kids gave me for Christmas!!!!!!

The norovirus!!!!!!!

I was up at 3 AM with it. So much for our big Christmas Eve breakfast and dinner. Thankfully Bob came over anyway and watched the kids while I slept. I just got out of bed now and am feeling much better, but I'm afraid to eat anything. That seems to be when my kids would have their relapse. I do need to get something in my stomach though. I'm so weak. I'm still debating on whether to go to 8PM Mass tonight. Maybe if I get a shower I'll feel better.

Deb - I'm so sorry about the bike issue.

Chanon - I agree, go look one more time. Does he keep his locker locked? Could someone have stolen it?

Chanon, that stinks! First, how does your homeowner's insurance cover a ring (possibly) lost at work? I have heard anecdotally (but not ever officially) that one can be claimed in a burglary, etc, in your home... but that would be really great if it could cover lost rings as well!

Regardless, I think you should look one more time (if it doesn't interrupt other plans too badly). So often, a second person, or a more... um, calm? :), second look will be all it takes, if it's there to be found! Good luck!

Heidi - I am glad John is home safe and sound! :)

Chanon - I am sorry Bob can't find his ring! We've never had to file a claim so I am not sure if it is better to call immediately or wait a few days and see if the ring shows up. Good luck!

Tammi - Oh, no! I am sorry! What a gem Bob is to help out so you can rest! Don't push yourself. It would be bad to get to Mass and then feel like you are going to puke. :scared:

Chanon - We have a separate jewelry/watches rider on our insurance but I don't know if that is necessary. I also don't know about exclusions for lost items. I know our cameras are NOT covered for loss at WDW, only theft.

Tammi - I hope you feel better! Try to work on the fluids.

I'm glad everyone is saying to look again. Yes, we have a rider on our homeowners that covers lost or stolen items...I've been told I can leave my ring on a table to try on lotion and walk away without it and it'd be covered. I'd rather look again (just in case (and calmer - thanks Jennifer, I really think that's the key here...) and then all the insurance. I'd rather not raise the cost of the insurance just yet.
There are only 12 people that he works with and we really don't think that anyone would have taken it. Bob can see his locker from his work station.
I'm hopeful it'll be found. It's not a very large place in where it could have gone...
I better get him up from his nap so we can eat dinner and get ready for 9pm church service.

Tammi - I'm so sorry the kids have shared with you. :( I hope you are feeling better soon. How nice that Bob could be there to help you out.

Chanon - Good luck finding Bob's ring. I think looking again is a good plan.

We are waiting for all of Michelle's kids to get back from the movies. Her MIL took them while Michelle wrapped presents. Terra and I just hung out and played video games, etc. Michelle's dad and step-mom will be here in a little bit for Christmas Eve dinner and presents.

Phil is currently at the airport and there are, knock on wood, no delays on his schedule so far. With luck, he should be here by 10pm and then hopefully he and his brother will come over for Christmas morning with us tomorrow.

Since things are about to get hectic, I'll wish you all a very Merry Christmas Eve and an even better Christmas morning.

You can always call the insurance and if it is found later, you can stop the coverage. That would give him the peace of mind for the season.
