Ah ha. Minimum requirements. That seems to be the problem I keep running into. I don't WANT $100 worth of stuff from Nike, or $89 worth of stuff from Disney Shopping, or whatever. Those are the minimums they have had recently, so MAYBE it will be different tomorrow but I doubt it!

The roads are horrible, but Colby and I are home safely. I've done all of the shoveling except the back deck. Chris can do that tonight. It has changed from snow to rain now. I'm concerned about the busses bringing the kids home later. It will probably be a scary ride. I may go pick up my boys as it will probably be safer.

I've had a bad morning.....I really wanted to get a second interview with the company I interviewed with last week but because they kept saying they would be interviewing the second round today and tomorrow...I know I haven't moved on there.

I got a call from my old job....the common sense stuff just seems to be not for them.

At the same time they called I got a call that went straight to message from the good co-worker...a lovely lady lost her battle with cancer last night. She had been told she was cancer free at the beginning of the summer and that the troubles she was having with her health were due to her other chronic disease.


I did get a good call.....I won a contest and will get to go to an Avalanche game in a limo with dinner paid for before hand. The thing is I don't particularly like hockey and misread it thinking it was for the Nuggets.

It's not until January 29th....they are playing the Toronto Maple Leafs. I think they are for club level seats so I know I won a big deal but it is kind of a bummer....I'd rather have a job...you know??

Those tickets are expensive!! (part of the reason we've never gone!!)

I was disappointed when the indoor footbally league suspended the 2009 season due to the economy...that was a great use of the Pepsi Center.

I think that's perfectly reasonable! I hope that you're able to go and enjoy yourself regardless, even if you aren't excited about it ahead of time. Sometimes it's nice to make ourselves do something fun, even if we don't think we're up for it. (And really, hopefully, you'll just have the PERFECT job by then! )

It's turned back to snow now. we've had either rain or snow non stop today. I'm using this afternoon to catch up on paying bills. I'm working tonight. Want to bet that no one will be out due to the weather I'm working Friday night too and it's supposed to snow again. We were thinking of going to Santa's Village on Sunday, but there is a big storm coming in Sunday afternoon so we won't be doing that either. Maybe the weekend after Christmas.

I can't even get up our driveway, I had to park across the street. Hopefully once the drive is shoveled I can get up. We have weather advisories already out for tomorrow for freezing rain. I do not work, so I plan on staying put. Gary can take the boys to school & pick them up
