It's not until January 29th....they are playing the Toronto Maple Leafs. I think they are for club level seats so I know I won a big deal but it is kind of a bummer....I'd rather have a job...you know??

The girls had their 6-month appointments today, and all went well. They had 5 shots each, plus the "rota juice" for the last time. They're getting so big!

Weight: 14 pounds, 7 ounces (13th %ile)

Avery
Head Circumference: 16.5 inches (26th %ile)

Weight: 13 pounds, 10 ounces (5th %ile)

This is the closest they've ever been in weight... Avery's catching up!

I've had a bad morning.....I really wanted to get a second interview with the company I interviewed with last week but because they kept saying they would be interviewing the second round today and tomorrow...I know I haven't moved on there.

I got a call from my old job....the common sense stuff just seems to be not for them.

At the same time they called I got a call that went straight to message from the good co-worker...a lovely lady lost her battle with cancer last night. She had been told she was cancer free at the beginning of the summer and that the troubles she was having with her health were due to her other chronic disease.


I did get a good call.....I won a contest and will get to go to an Avalanche game in a limo with dinner paid for before hand. The thing is I don't particularly like hockey and misread it thinking it was for the Nuggets.

Eh, so just go to dinner in the limo and then come home! I am not a hockey fan, either. Apparently Dadboss isn't much into hockey because Princess asked me what it is. Her friend's mom was going to a game last night and we were talking about it. Princess said "What's HOCKEY?"

I am sorry for your loss.

Did you know there is a $900 price difference between pool view and concierge at AKL for an 8 night trip? Wow! Yes, the concierge rooms are guaranteed savanna view, so it's a little different, but $900? Personally I think the Uncles should save their $900 and NOT book concierge.

But they aren't doing any pricing research. They are going to call the travel agent on Monday.

I found out some more info regarding the Birthday Celebration information at Disney...if you know about it already - I'm sorry!

You have your choice of three things to pick from (with proof of your birthday - DL for those with ID or birth certificate for children with no ID)
1. Birthday Fun Card - cost of a 1 day base ticket good for merchandise only
2. Birthday Fast Pass - good for Fastpass rides for the park you are in on your birthday for you and 5 guests (similar to the Dream Fastpasses)
3. One Day Base Ticket - good for one day into the parks up until your next birthday.

The boys are safely home. One less thing to worry about. The roads just look wet now. Hopefully it's not black ice. I'll leave for work in about an hour. Hopefully Chris will make it home with the car before the road turn icy. I'll have the truck tonight. That could be good or bad, it's 4 wheel drive, but the all season tires aren't the best for icy conditions.

Things are a bit crazy here. I think we're all sleep-deprived, because I haven't been seeing the best behavior from my big kids. Not even the ominous, "Santa's watching you," is making a difference.

Anyway, we leave for another trip to Huron on Friday, and my "to do" list has no end in sight, so please accept this blanket of for you all! We'll be back late Monday.

Hi there.....we made it safely! Drive went pretty smoothly. We are all checked in....we are in a 1 bedroom suite with a loft. It is very spacious. It was cute they decorated for Bill's birthday.

So far we spent 3 hours at the water park.....now we are leaving for some Christmas activities.
