Glad you guys are OK Deb!!!!

Our weather craziness has begun...it is almost 50 degrees here now....and it is dropping to 18 in the next few hours....rain, snow & ice coming...the wind right now is rattling the whole house.

Have I mentioned that I hate this weather!!
Deb - I'm glad you all are okay.

Kristine - I hope you fare as well as Deb did. :wizard:

That's kind of how ours is, too. Right now - WITH 40mph wind gusts - it still feels nice enough for short sleeves. My car said it was 56 degrees on the way home from church tonight! :faint:

Tomorrow, ice and snow.
And some :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: for you too!

We have a new tea store at our mall called Teavana. I don't know anything about it though. You might want to Google that.

We have those shops in several of our malls, too. I have sampled some of their teas but I haven't ever bought anything there.

We have had REALLY windy conditions today, but the temps were in the 70s. Tomorrow our high is supposed to be 40, but I am not sure if there is supposed to be rain or anything.

It has already started here. It was in the 50's, now it is sleeting outside & the temp is quickly dropping. Should make for an interesting morning & I did not think to bring any salt home from work :sad2:

Bill has his salt bucket perched on the front porch....I dread the morning

Elizabeth :yay: for getting your tree up!

Deb glad to hear you are all ok :goodvibes

Kristine thanks for the links for the tea, I fell in love with the vanilla rooibos tea at the GF.

To all of our northern friends, stay safe and warm.

I'm going to try and call it a night, work starts at 5 am tomorrow.

All right, thanks for not posting a ton. I am having a REALLY hard time tonight as the girls approach 6 months. I don't think I'm allowed blaming it on hormones anymore, but I'm a disaster. I think I need to veg for the night, and hope tomorrow brings a less emotional me. I'm a basket case!

Take care, and have a great night!

I think my Team holiday party is going to be called off for tomorrow. I called the guy who is Acting in my position while I'm acting in the Lansing position. He is making some phone calls and will get back with me on the status.

It is basically sleeting here now and is supposed to drop to freezing overnight. Plus, there is a blizzard warning for one of the counties that my former staff are in. I don't want my team driving in this. I was really looking forward to the time with them but will not put their lives at risk for work let alone a meeting/party. I bought a 9# prime rib roast for Chuck to grill. All the food can be saved until it can be rescheduled.

:grouphug: This is perfectly natural. Any milestone can bring on melancholy as the girls grow. Relax and enjoy your time with the girls. Just remember that though they are growing and changing, there are wonderful things in your future with them. Every day brings new discoveries with them.

It was awesome! Pops Orchestra, May Festival Chorus, some kids dancing, Madcap puppet theater, some adults dancing, some audience singing, some "famous" (B-list at best) people singing....

And Toyota's Trumpet-Playing Robot! :teeth:

I am glad you had fun!!

:rotfl2: I glanced in the window the last time I was at the mall. Looks nice but it also looks like I need to spend a lot of time in there.

Well said, Vicki. As you and I both know, there are such great delights in having those little babies grow into lovely young women! Jennifer... have a good snuggle and cry, take even more pictures and dream of the glorious adventures you will have with Avery and Elise as they continue to amaze and astound you!
