We received a couple more cards too. I have them all taped to our entertainment center. It is nice to have them so visable.


Friday is the last day of school for our kids. Colby has a concert Tuesday night and Nick and Hunter do on Thursday night. I'm doing crafts with Colby's class tomorrow, possibly Family Consumer Science (Home Ec) with Nick on Tuesday and Art and Party with Colby's class on Friday. I'm in for a busy week.

For the first time in years I taped our cards up on the closet door in the hallway. It looks quite festive! I used to do that every year, but I had gotten out of the habit. For some reason I decided today to put them up.

DS's last day of school is Friday. His band concert is Tuesday. I am working late tomorrow and Thursday. I am babysitting Friday night after work (I don't really like to do that, but oh well), and I might have Princess on Saturday night depending on my bosses. I was scheduled to sit for another family, but they cancelled so I told my bosses I was available.

Next week I am only supposed to work on Monday, but I better be prepared in case the grandparents are delayed by winter weather!

Elin - You should mail your cards quickly, before my mailman decides to make all of my envelope mail vanish into thin air!

Dadboss made the comment the other day that all of their cards arrive already opened. I really like their mailman, so I don't think he opens their mail. It must be someone in one of the sorting facilities.

I ordered replacement PE shorts for DS from Nike.com. Tracking showed they were delivered yesterday around noon. Um, no, they were NOT! It said something about "delivered to address other than customer"? We were HOME at noon yesterday! The FedEx guy never came to the door and he never left a slip to tell us the package was in the office! Luckily the leasing office did have the box, but the FedEx guy is on my naughty list. What if I didn't know that box was coming? How would I know it was sitting in the office without a delivery notice?
