Katrina is looking for flights to Vegas over the holidays. Her boyfriends father is paying for the ticket. Where do you guys search for the cheapest fares?

I like kayak dot com.

DH watched bits and pieces of the Cowboy game, but since we don't care if they win or lose he wasn't watching all that closely! :rotfl2:

Tammi - I bought some stuff that wasn't technically groceries. Since I go to Super Target I roll my groceries and Target shopping into one trip. I got fabric softener, cotton balls, lip balm (because I have never seen anyone blow through lip balm like DS), deodorant, etc. that really cranks up the total. We have managed to get most of the laundry done. There are still some towels waiting to go in the washer.

Thanks Elizabeth. That was the same price as priceline so she has the info she needs.

You don't know Katrina if you think your DS blows through it. I swear that kid is rolling on lip balm 55 out of 60 minutes in the day.

Hi!! I'm home!!! Chanon & Janet are still enjoying their time at Disneyworld. we had a great time. The weather was alittle chilly at times but sunny. The MVMCP was alot of fun! We saw Tammi & her gang before the fireworks.

We met up with Stephanie & Terry yesterday. They were doing 4 parks in 1 day & loving every minute of it. They were off to cruise today.

We saw Kelly Ripa & her hubby on Friday at HS shopping with her kids. Also saw the tower of terror guy ready to film something for the Christmas parade taping. Hes the scary guy who is in all the promotional videos.

Today I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Deb Wills from Allears. I went over & told her how much I enjoyed her website. She was very nice. We chatted for awhile & then she was off to cruise with Stephanie & Terry at mousefest.

We ate at Brown Derby, Chef de France, & The Plaza (which have the best hamburgers on property IMHO).

Lots of fun but now I am super pooped! I have some pictures I will post tomorrow. Very bumpy flight coming back into NY.

Hope all is well with everyone.:)

Welcome home, Anne Marie!!! Glad you had a good time.

Yesterday turned out to be quite productive, we started out working on the outside decorations, and then went to Brandon's closing cermonies for football. The participation trophies were bobble heads, which we thought were very appropriate as we call it bobble head ball at this age because they look like bobble heads with those big helmets on. :rotfl:

Brandon got his bobble head and a plaque for offensive player of the year,

Way to go Brandon

Here's our display in the front yard,

This may be the last year for the packages, they are plastic and the tabs that hold the tops on are starting to break off.

Here's my indoor tree, I decided to try a live tree this year and I don't think I'll do that again. With the tree being so small the branches aren't strong enough to hold some of my ornaments without drooping, not to mention the time I had trying to get my bubble lights to stand up straight.

I have to finish decorating the dining room today and our decorating will be complete! Then on to wrapping, my trunk is crammed full.

Very nice :goodvibes

Aack! I didn't even think about that, which was stupid :) I will see, I've never done this before. Otherwise when it turns into a spreadsheet it will be easy to edit and add them in.

Isn't that cool, though!?

Very cool. I'm done too.

I'm in the middle of washing the cushions covers on my sofa and love seat, so far so good. I was pretty nervous about it, but we are the proud owners of a new pair of Kenmore HE2 Super Plus front loaders so I thought I would give it a try.

They were an unexpected purchase but Thanksgiving night I had a load in the washer and it started making a horrible noise, and then a smell of rubber burning and the washer would no longer aggitate. It was probably something that could have been repaired but due to the fact that it wash an older inexpensive washer we opted to purchase a new one. I went in to work Black Friday and mentioned to a co worker that my washer had dies and she told me I needed to get the pair that was on the 5 hour sale, with the sale price and my discount my final cost for the pair was $577, for a washer and dryer that normally sell for $799 each.

I've been in a washing frenzy playing with my new toy. :rotfl: :rotfl:

That is what we will buy the next time. I'm glad to hear that you love them

For the moment, I love Tony Romo! ;)

That must have been a fleeting moment :lmao: Sorry Jen

Welcome home, Anne Marie! I'm sorry I didn't get to spend more time with you all. I'd love to do another Mommies/Ladies only trip!

Welcome back Anne Marie. That sounds like a wonderful whirlwind trip. Can't wait to read all about it.

We had a really good shopping day. We were pleased to find wonderful sales and I think I'm pretty much done shopping. I guess I'll know for sure if I ever get around to wrapping. Toys R Us had a great sale on video games. The games that are more than $29.99 were buy one get $20 off the second. I even found a new game called Disney Think Fast for both the Wii(for my brother's family) and for PS2. :thumbsup2

Welcome Home Anne Marie!!

Sounds like a productive day Deb!!

Elin-you get to do some way cool things!!:goodvibes

I see it's been a quiet afternoon. I did some grocery shopping too, but not $200 worth! I'm also on load number 4 of laundry. Nicholas had a good time at his football party. They all got really big trophies.

For those of you waiting for ornaments, they have been purchased and hopefully will get mailed sometime this week. I need to find some boxes first.

Glynis - how is Baby Timothy? How are you? I haven't seen him yet, so if there were pictures posted, could someone please direct me to them?

Timothy is doing very well. He's treating this old mom very well. I did post pictures, and I think they're a few pages back. If you can't find them, I can post them again, or send them to you in a PM. I think he's amazing, but then I'm biased!

Karen - Here's my roast recipe:

2-3 pounds of chuck roast (or whatever you like
1 envelope ranch dressing mix
1 envelope italian dressing mix
1 envelope brown gravy mix
1/2 cup water

Place roast in slow cooker. Mix the dressing mixes and gravy mix with the water and pour over roast. Cook on High 3-4 hours or on low 5-6 hours or until done.

Hope this helps.

That's the one I was asking about last week before I left. I was thinking of getting it but the reviews didn't make it sound too good. Let me know if you like it.

I agree. I'm almost positive one of our family members will buy it for us as a gift, but if not I'm not sure we'll buy it.... it didn't sound great, which was disappointing!

Glynis - I found the pictures. Timothy is beautiful. Now, why did you have a c-section? Was that planned?
