I finally thought of the perfect gift for my sister and BIL! I got them a $100 gift certificate from BedandBreakfast.com. I will have it delivered here and add information about our area, as well as Mount Vernon, etc. I will put brochures from a couple of B&Bs in Fredericksburg in the box as well. And we will issue an invitation to plan a tirp to visit!

That sounds like a great idea!

Morning everyone-
So i have to say that The Lion King was amazing..the costumes were just fantastic..i was amazed at some of the "animals"
We got there around 11, grabbed lunch at a TGI Fridays , before we got too close to times square, because we figured it would then be packed...We went to Rockefeller Center--the tree thsi year is from the town that I teach in, so that was kind of neat..We grabbed some pictures and headed to the show..after the show, we went home--it was a long day for the 8 year old we went with ---but it was great! i was exhausted last night!

Way cool!! I didn't realize you were going to The Lion King.

Sounds like an unforgettable day!!

I'm off to go grocery shopping. Chuck and Katrina do a great job keeping the house clean but they don't care to grocery shop so that usually gets left to me when I'm home.

you seem to get our posting going for some reason....take for instance while you were gone I would come in the morning and there'd be a page to catch up on....this morning 5!!

But I mean that in the best sense. I count on everybody to keep me sane and when you don't post I go a little more round the bend
