I had a salad with goat cheese croutons on the Wonder once and it was delicious!

I once had a salad at a charity event with goat cheese on it. It was a dinner where the room was darkened because there was a presentation on the stage, so I couldn't see the cheese until it was too late. I have never been so close to spitting something out. Not attractive behavior in the middle of a black tie charity event.

I finally thought of the perfect gift for my sister and BIL! I got them a $100 gift certificate from BedandBreakfast.com. I will have it delivered here and add information about our area, as well as Mount Vernon, etc. I will put brochures from a couple of B&Bs in Fredericksburg in the box as well. And we will issue an invitation to plan a trip to visit!

Anyone care to give me menu suggestions for Christmas??

This is what I am doing do far:

London Broil
Honey/Mustard Glazed Ham
Potatoes Dauphinoise
Broccoli-cauliflower au gratin
Rolls

I feel like I need something else....

dessert will be brought by other people....it's a side dish suggestion I think I need

How about a green salad, or a jello salad. We like deviled eggs, as well. We also do a relish tray with dill pickles, sweet pickles, pickled asparagus, dilled beans, olives (black and green), etc.

I like the pear one!

We always make a salad with pears, apples and pomegranate seeds with a German salad dressing. It's an oil based dressing with lots of herbs in it. Totally yummy. If you want the recipe let me know. It's very easy to make!

So yesterday it was very cold and was snowing at Hershey. It was not supposed to start snowing until after Midnight. Everything was white and things were slippery. Somethings were closed but it was still good.

Today I helped my Mom with the Gingerbread house making event.

I need to go work on decorating the tree.

So I had things canceled from three different online stores. Two of them were not even on sale.

I hope you all have a good weekend.

I am so not ready to go to work tomorrow.

I am back from grocery shopping. $200 later... At least we won't starve now.

I guess I should start thinking about Christmas cards. Maybe that will be a tomorrow project since Princess will be at school.

I see it's been a quiet afternoon. I did some grocery shopping too, but not $200 worth! I'm also on load number 4 of laundry. Nicholas had a good time at his football party. They all got really big trophies.

For those of you waiting for ornaments, they have been purchased and hopefully will get mailed sometime this week. I need to find some boxes first.

Glynis - how is Baby Timothy? How are you? I haven't seen him yet, so if there were pictures posted, could someone please direct me to them?

When they played the Bengals it made sense that I would get it but not you, but I thought this one would have been on a more wide-spread market. I wonder why I got it..... I don't think I'm that much closer.
