We were up and ready pretty early since I had gone to sleep so early the night before. We walked around outside of the hotel for a bit and then headed to the airport for our 12:50 flight. Nothing too exciting happened but we had a couple of military men on our flight. When talking to them, we found out they were going to a base not too far from my house but they didn’t have a ride and were going to get a taxi. We ended up taking them and we stopped for dinner first. They are going to be deployed to iraq in a couple of weeks. We exchanged numbers and decided we will get together for dinner, etc a few times befrore they get deployed--what a great couple of guys.

All in all it was an amazing trip and the best thanskgiving I can remember. I am so glad that I went and think that I will be going to dallas every year!

That was a really nice thing to do, Jen. I bet they really appreciated your hospitality!

I noticed it this morning, but a couple of times it had something else their. It says if you book a trip by the 23rd of Dec. for 2009 you would get a call from Mickey on Christmas day.

Thought I would mention... that works only if you pay full price for the vacation.

I have been a lazy bum this weekend. I can not believe that tomorrow is Monday. I am not ready to go back to work.

I have to pick a day between now and the end of the year to take off, otherwise I will lose it. I am honestly not sure how that happened but I will take it. I have a few hours of vacation and a few hours of personal time left and it adds up to a day.

I had turkey stir fry for dinner, to use up the TD leftovers.

I never did get any decorations put up. The weather did not warm up. I did manage to connect what was up to timers, that way I do not have to go outside to shut them off I also ran out and made all of the returns that I needed to. SIL and I duplicated a few items and my mother decided that she didn't want something that she bought. I also had some coupons that were not removed from items that I bought at the grocery store. I ended up getting $6 back I filled the truck up with gas at $1.04/gal. The truck was completely full for $20.98 Our price chopper gives you 10 cents per gallon off the price of gas at Sunoco for every $50 spent. I've been shopping at Price Chopper more lately and you can accumulate them for up to 3 months. It a great deal because I'm only buying what I normally would and I'm saving money on gas. I also got a coupon at checkout for $10 off $25 at Fashion Bug so I went in and bought a few items for MIL. I have no idea if they will fit, but they were the biggest available. Last year we bought her a bathrobe that was a size 5X and I could only get 4X at Fashion Bug. I'll give her the gift receipts and if they don't fit she can pick something else out for herself.

Yep, he's watching. He is very UNimpressed He said that Castle has single handedly lost the game. I can tell he is going grumpy for the rest of the night. He did say that on the bright side Tampa won.

I went today to return my lidless pot and ended up with a pot I really wanted and a new hand mixer

Then I really needed a casual winter coat. So with the check from one of the members of the church...I found a Columbia for $80....I made a stink when they tried charging me $109 and they wouldn't go check the place where I got the coat from. Don't mess with me

It rained the ENTIRE time and dropped down to about 33 degrees, but Kyle hasn't been called in yet. At this point it is unlikely that he will, but technically we still have until 7am tomorrow.

We had a good time, but the car battery died (moderately long story, told in brief on the blog) and made for a LONG evening. Elise is pretty sick, too, so I'm not sure what that means for tomorrow.

I'm off tonight though, have a good one!
