so is the new book by J. K. Rowling a sequal to Harry Potter[/QUOTE
This is without sharing too much info. In case someone is still reading through the Harry Potter Series.
It is not a sequel to the JK Rowling books. The Beedle and the Bard is one of the important books mentioned in the Harry Potter books. It plays a key role in the story line. JK wrote out all the stories that are listed in the Beedle and the Bard and that is what is contained in this book.
The original version of this book, she created and auctioned it off for money for charity. It was hand written with hand illustrations. This link shows the original book and more information about it.
If you have a Harry Potter fan, I am sure they would love to have a copy of this book. It is available in a standard and collectors edition.
thanks Becky

Janet, Chanon, Terry, & Stephanie,
Are you bringing short sleeves, long sleeves, pants or capris or shorts??
Dinner was with some friends that Randy used to work with. One of them is also my dearest friend and best friend from school. Randy didn't get to go wtih us, as he took the boys to the ranch his family has. Andrew hasn't been since he was an infant and Jake has never been. I've talked to them a couple of times and they are having a great time. We're always so busy with sports that we can't go, but I have a feeling that we'll be making more time in the future.
After dinner we went to a place to hear a couple of bands. I haven't been out that late in a long time. It turns out there was a lot of drama at my house, and I missed it. When I was about to leave the bar, I noticed I had 6 missed calls, and I had been regularly checking my phone. It turns out that the police had been chasing two suspects, and they ran out in the pasture near our house. My BIL heard police helicopters and thought they might be near my house so he went to investigate. He found the sheriff, a game warden and six police cars along with the helicopters around my house. When he couldn't get me to answer the house phone, the police decided that they should go in to the house to make sure everything was okay. (we leave the second garage door cracked a little for the cat.) The alarm was set, but they still checked everything out. By the time I got home, they had moved on to somewhere else looking for the men.
I was very careful, but the garage door down before I got out of the car, headed in to the house and re-set the alarm.
This morning I was up early to treat myself to a pedicure and ran work errands, and finished up a couple of things for myself. I spent some time at work, then got groceries and made it home to wash laundry and decorate a little.
It's been a pretty productive weekend, though I wish I could do more decorating. Maybe that's why it still doesn't seem like it's getting close to Christmas.
Sounds like you had a wonderful time!!!I am home and exhausted--it was an amazing trip!! i am in the middle of typing up a summary/mini trip report to send my cousin..if theres any interest, ill post it here too--it does not seem like its going to be much, but there were some major highlights--including the game, limo ride, playing on the field..
Janet, good luck with the snow.![]()
Janet, that theirs not to much snow. drive safe in it.
Good morning. We made it home around 1:15am last night. Not too bad as we hit the road at 3:30pm. I have to spend today digging out from the mess that has become my house. The laundry is piled miles high. Everything needs to go back to where it belongs. I hate this part of vacation.
Emma says thank you for her birthday wishes. She is spending the morning working on her homework packet from school. I feel like a horrible mom for not wishing her a happy birthday when I woke up. My brain is so foggy.
And guess what I have tonight, a Girl Scout meeting. Why, because it is the only time we can all meet before Thursday and we have a ton of stuff to go over. I have to take at least an hour but probably closer to 2 getting everything ready for tonight. At least it will be an enjoyable time so it's not quite so much a chore.
Headed to the Bengals game, soon.... I hope it quits raining!
Please keep your fingers crossed that Kyle doesn't get called in to work!![]()
