Happy Birthday to Nicholas! ​

AND today I have a teenager in my house! Andrew turned 13 today.

I'm going to get another cortisone shot in my shoulder today, meet my boss's daughter at a lab so she can have blood drawn, pick up the boys and then head home for the family celebration for Andrew. My SIL is making his favorite foods -- hamburgers and pound cake.

Sounds like fun to me. I haven't had a chance to watch many movies lately. That reminds me, I've got to give Phil a heads up that I'm hoping to go to the movies on Sunday morning. There's a couple of things I'd like to see so I'll have to decide which it will be.

DS got his report card today. Straight B's, with A's in Band and PE. Not too bad. It's 7th grade, not college. These grades will not determine the course the rest of his life will follow. I told him I would like to see more A's next time. If he can manage to continue with B's I am happy with that. I don't want to put too much pressure on him, but I don't want him to think he can just coast and not put any effort into it.

DH said his vacation bid is Wednesday. I guess I will cross my fingers that he can get the dates I already booked, or I will be paying some hefty change fees for the plane tickets and scrambling to adjust our DVC ressie.

Congrats to DS on his great report card! Good luck with the vacation bid.

Terry and Stephanie- I hope this helps you get excited for your cruise.

The Magic was at Castaway Cay on Friday and the Wonder came to visit as they had a day at sea. Both of them in the same place does not happen very often.

Oh that gives me shivers!!!! I love it!!!

Where oh where did everyone go...where oh where could you be?

I've wasted a couple of hours entering every Disney and Hawaii sweepstakes that I could find Since I have no trips planned I need something to dream about.

Good Morning!! Well, they lasted until a quarter to 5 last night before work called me in a tizzy. I will go in SOMETIME today and help them out (for pay).

Crap.

The change fee for the plane tickets has TRIPLED!

$150 per ticket to change dates, plus the difference in fares. Which at this point the fares are lower, so the change fee would be $248. Yikes. I had a feeling the change fee had probably increased.

Now, that is still cheaper than all 3 of us flying to Orlando in December. For the price of 3 round trip tickets we could pay the change fee and add tickets to Universal to the August trip.

I can't do anything until after the bid, but that little piece of info certainly complicates things! If we do decide to switch the dates I don't know if I should change the tickets NOW or wait and see if the price comes down so we wouldn't be out so much on the change fee.

I slept in this morning. I still feel like something is manifesting, but maybe not. I figured extra sleep could only help. My plans for the day are to hit the USPS for a package, sign the boys up for snowboarding, pick up Colby, finish my outside decorations, make dinner. I'm working tonight at 6 PM for a Christmas party. I should have 16 - 20 patrons I guess I should get going.
