Elizabeth - what is the use of having the ornaments if you don't put them on a tree to enjoy? We have had trees come crashing over all by themselves and breaking treasured ornaments with the fall, but we had them to enjoy!

My thought is that these cats will not live forever. At some point in 10 or 15 years I will be able to have my glorious tree again. If they destroy all of my ornaments then in 10 or 15 years I won't have cats OR ornaments.

I don't know what took me so long to purchase silpat http://www.amazon.com/Wilton-Easy-S...?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1229192740&sr=1-25 for my cookie baking, but I highly recommend them. No more burnt cookies and they don't sick to the pan either, best $10 bucks I spent.

Quick question...

Tomorrow, we're supposed to go to "Breakfast with Santa." I'm anticipating that Alyssa is going to notice this is a different Santa than the Santa we saw at the mall on Monday night.

How do you all handle Santa questions? Along the same lines, how do you respond when your kids notice "this" Cinderella looks a little different than "that" Cinderella?

When the kids started asking questions, we told them that they were Santa's "helpers" because Santa couldn't be everywhere. They were special people that worked with the real Santa so that all kids could get their lists to the real Santa. We didn't do this until the kids noticed that there were several Santas in town in different stores and "how can Santa be in all those places at once?" The only other alternative we could come up with is that Santa is magic and could "clone" himself which we didn't like.

Jen, I'm sorry your friend is moving.

My brain is fuzzy this morning due to Noah sleeping poorly (he's got a cold ) and baking until 2 a.m. I actually had fun cutting out cookies, because my mom bought me the best gift ever: a silicone rolling pin with these cool rubber bands that make sure your dough is level. It was an amazing experience!

And, the turkey was delicious! It literally fell off the bones! Yum!

Katrina wanted me to thank Jennifer for her ornament. She called me the day that it arrived all excited but I wasn't in town. I forgot to post it last week-end while I was here. Sorry.

Heidi, I love those baking mats! My mom got really nice ones from Tupperware back when they were still very expensive.... now I love that you can find several brands, anywhere! They really are a great little investment!

Chuck is warming up homemade Italian Sausage soup for us. He is cooking some tortellini to add to it. It smells so good. Yummy!!!!!

I cleaned the kitchen cabinets. There was a thick layer of greasy dust on the tops and fronts of them.

So have any of you received the "viral video campaign" email from Disney, where it places your name (or whomever you choose) all over Disney parks in a "newscast"? I had read about it on several blogs, supposedly it was getting sent to a handful of passholders, DVC members, etc in hopes that they would forward it all around the internet.

I saw one today finally, and it is so cute!

I know, that surprised me! In the one I watched, he just said "if our special guest doesn't arrive".... I guess more common names are inserted? Cool, though, either way!
