Why do all the great deals come out when we are broke First the cruise deal, which I would love to do and now a HUGE announcement. It just isn't fair. I think I may need a third job to support my vacation habit

Feb. 4th - 11th.

We might be driving, so we will either add a day or probably take a day away. Depending on tomorrow's news!

PS - I had my first visit with my new doctor yesterday, it went well but of course she wants more tests run.

She also changed my diabetes medication from Glucotrol to Metformin, she thinks it will be better because I've had a few instances where my sugar level dropped significantly. Hopefully I will be able to stop all diabetes medicine soon.

That is great news! You've done so wonderfully taking care of yourself!

So who is speculating about the huge news Disney is supposed to announce tomorrow. I might have to try to sweet talk my DH into a trip for my birthday next year if the Package deals are any
good.

I'm interested in seeing though it probably won't do me any good.

Tia and Channon they changed some of the borders on Photopass. I am done with my pics let me know when you are both done tonight or tomorrow. As the pics start expiring on the 7th

Glynis I think that is very thoughtless of your sil, she should have stayed home. I would never expect someone to watch my sick child & especially with you having to be careful right now. I hope the evening goes quickly & that no one in your family gets sick

I had not heard about anything coming out tomorrow, thanks for the heads up! Maybe I can get something going for a solo trip in May

Deb I agree about it getting dark so early, I do not like it one bit!


I am officially pooped! I stayed up til midnight last night watching the election, back up at 4am to go to work at 5am. Off work a little after noon & went to the grocery store. Came home & cut the weeds around one side of the house(I think they were planted by previous owners, but they always look like weeds to me!). Sat down for about an hour & had a bite to eat. When the boys came home we all went outside to do the last of the yard work, cutting weeds, raking leaves, & Riley mowed one last time. We also had wood left from the last of the cabinets Gary took out from our kitchen, so we loaded all of that up & carted it off to the dumpster where I work. As much as I do not want it, our outside is ready for winter

Time to take a shower & find something for supper. Catch up with you all later!

Our new furnace is certainly working. It has not turned on all day, but my house is still 78 degrees with a window open Apparently water circulates through the tubing in our basement constantly so even though the radiators aren't radiating heat the tubes still are. I guess I'd better keep some summer clothes handy for days when I'm at home

We had ham and egg bagels for dinner. Yummy. Hunter was excited that we had orange juice to go with them.


Hunter made a mobile to make tonight. He is studing weather and he chose clouds to do his report on. He made a really nice mobile and it is done Tomorrow he needs to write his notes on index cards then he is done. Nick is also working on a project, but I'm not sure what it is.

I voted at 10:45, no wait. Less than 10 minutes from parking to driving away Very quick. I still can't fathum how a country with millions of people eligible to be president came up with those 2 candidates I hope the next election has better choices. I also hope that whoever wins this one surprises the hell out of me and turn our country around. We used to be a world power financially, militarily and politically, but that certainly isn't true these days Enough said.

Boy, do I second those sentiments.

Abi had a girls in science forum today...she came home loaded with lots of cool stuff. She had a huge list of science topics to choose from and she choose NO animal science topics. She ended up in a sounds & sights and 2 astronomy/rocket science forums. She also got lunch out of the deal. It was sponsored by Lockheed Martin, Ratheon and was held in one of the convention centers...I should have asked to tag along!!

Took us longer to read the ballot then stand in line to vote.

We walked up, signed our forms, sat down and filled out our forms, turned them out. We were in & out within 10 minutes.

Unfortunately, yes I had to cancel due to the move. I am very dissapointed but I hope there will be other opportunities for us to go again.
