off to lazer zone for Christopher's bday party...I hope I live through it!! :rotfl2:

Wow, lots of great designs. Maybe each team member could wear a different design :confused3

I survived subbing. I taught two Spanish classes which is funny because I've never taken spanish :rotfl: I just read them a couple of books and muttled my way through a few words. I did learn that Tortuga means tortoise though :lmao: I also did one period of lunchroom monitor and one silent reading period. The rest of the day I spent doing data entry in the office. The good news is that the office loves to have me and asked me if I would train to be their back up. The principal asked if I would be willing to drive the little bus/van if they need coverage. Hopefully my willingness to do many tasks will give me many days

I managed to carve out about an hour at home before I head to work tonight. I haven't heard a word from MIL so I need to get that info soon as we need to make plans for Halloween and the weekend.

Deb, it sounds like you had a really good day at the school! I think it would be fun to do different tasks around the classes, office, etc.

I just spoke to the mom who is hosting the Halloween party. I think she sounds pretty competent. It clearly states on the invite that the kids are NOT allowed to leave the party without an adult, so I won't have to worry about DS wandering off unattended. I think DS will have fun.

Princess had her little Halloween party today. She said she had a cookie. It didn't have M&Ms or candy corn on it. It had SPRINKLERS! (Think she meant sprinkles? :rotfl2: )

Kristine,
Happy Birthday to Christopher!

Janet,
Happy Anniversary to you & Gary!!!

Marci,
Happy Anniversary to you & Randy!!!

Wow, we have lots of DDAers' that have gotten married during this time.
Our 17th wedding anniversary is Monday.

Deb,
Nice pictures. It looks like T Rex looks alot like Rainforest or is that just me?

Hi to everyone I missed...:dogdance:

So I just got off of a phone pre-interview for the gatekeeper of companies looking to hire that I keep doing the 2nd round of information for...so that means I made it to the fourth of what seems to be a gazillion steps with one of the positions. :cool1:

The first funeral today I was in charge of the bulletin for...I thought it was quite funny how God took that time to remind me of Ecclesiastes 3:1-8.."a time to" .

Good luck with the rest of the gazillion steps!

Somewhat ironically, that was one of our wedding verses. It's always been a favorite of mine.

ditto

Ok, Janet -- Just a quick walk through the wine aisles (without stopping anyone to ask since I didn't really remember any details), I saw the following:

Breitenbach Apricot wine (US)

Legay-Lagoute Creme d'Abricot liqueur (France)

Leelanau Cellars Apricot (US)

In general among the 'fruity' wines (excluding flavored "wines" like Arbor Mist :)), I saw a lot of pomegranate and berry wines, as well as lots of Honey Meads.

Elin - they had Menage a Trois White, Red and Rose -- your favorite?

Ok, now all of you have me confused. This is how I'm reading it...

So if you have wireless in the house, you're fine. Hang the frame on the wall as far away from your computer as you want.
If you don't have wireless, you have to connect the USB to the computer and either A.1)hang the frame by the computer and/or A.2) hope it's a really long USB cord or B)leave unattached and connect to the computer whenever you want photos uploaded.

Is that what I'm understanding??

That is the way I understood it when I read it.

I made Leighanna a little Halloween outfit for school today. She will wear her Bo Peep tomorrow for their parade. She doesn't have school on Friday.

She did spill a little orange paint on it at school. She was painting a picture of a pumpkin for me, so she is forgiven!;)

You are multi-talented!

this is the first year they've really been touting it (around here at least) but we've always had some form of early voting...mainly by mail in ballot.

We haven't ever had to wait too long in line but this year may be different as we have a honking big ballot (seriously I think it's going to be 18 pages long) AND we are a contested county in a hottly contested state...don't I feel special??:rotfl2:

This can only be done as an absentee ballot for us - meaning we sign a form and send it in stating that we can't be at the voting location on the day of the election. They send us the absentee ballot and we mail it back. I voted this way when I was in college and Becky is doing the same thing this year. We also vote at the fire hall about 5 miles from the house. I can usually just walk right up after signing in but I vote during the day as well.

Tom-your creations are so, so cute. Cassidy has asked if you do grown up girl sizes as she would gladly pay for something (if she had the money:lmao: )
