Well, there is a clause in the packing mandates when your clothes don't fit. Good luck finding what you need! I have to go to Gap after cooking class to get a long-sleeved black polo for DS. The store we were in yesterday didn't have one in his size, but I did find one at another location.
Sorry, but this just cracks me up! :rotfl2:

Good morning! I enjoyed looking at all the pictures posted in thread 13. This one made me smile..can't believe this was a YEAR ago!!

We had a few people interested in our house this weekend & we have another open house coming up. We had an home inspector, appraiser, & oil tank inspector come..oh & a broker open house too...I have been cleaning closets & donating alot of the kids clothes. (sad to see them go but just because I keep their baby clothes doesn't mean I can keep them babies right? :sad1: )
I have still managed to keep the house spit spot for any showings. :thumbsup2

4am we had the LOUDEST thunder storm I have ever heard..The thunder shook my house several times.:scared:

Halloween is supposed to be nice...Katie is a bee, Daniel is Obi Wan Kenobi, & Sophie is Minnie Mouse.

Have a beautiful day.
:flower3:
It's not working for me either. :sad2:

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you find a buyer soon!

Good morning... I am so glad that we are finally moving along on Chapter 14! I was sidelined yesterday by horrible sinus problems. My whole face hurt just about all day. Mo's school ended up being cancelled, they had a funeral at the church, so there was no parking as there were over 400 in attendance. The school, however did not call anyone so a lot of parents showed up only to turn around. My MIL picks Mo up and she just took her for lunch and then brought her home. Thankfully I only had the brothers and they were easily entertained by Jack the Pumpkin King!! I was in bed by 8pm last night and asleep not long after that. I feel slightly better but plan on making this an easy, low key day as well.

Oh and then Gail, at 6am yesterday, fell completely down her stairs. Neither Eric nor I heard her. Thankfully she is just a tad banged up but she said she is very thankful that she was able to get up after she fell and call. She had her girlfriend come and take her to the hospital to get checked out. The only thing they found was that she has arthritis horribly in her neck and spine, the dr said she thought she was looking at an x-ray of an 80 year. Gail suspected that is what causes her horrible back aches but never wanted to face defeat!! I did manage to cook dinner and send her enough over for dinner last night and today. She looked pretty good and was moving pretty well. The funniest thing, though, is that last Thursday she got rid of all her living room furniture as she ordered new furniture and wanted to make sure the old stuff was gone before the new pieces arrived. Eric carried down a chair she had up in her bedroom so she didn't have to sit in her lawn chairs!!

Robyn - I hope your sinus issues are better today! :wizard:
Poor Gail! I hope she is not too sore today! :wizard:

It was quick and painless. I opted for no Novocaine (or whatever they call the stuff they use these days ;)). The shot for that would have hurt more than the entire procedure did!

I hope you have fun with all those twins today. :lovestruc :lovestruc :cutie: :cutie:

I am a weenie. I would have my mouth numb for a cleaning if they would offer it.

Heidi -- You are in the Poconos, right?? :sad2:

Heidi, it is time to move. :scared:

After hemming and hawing I think we have decided to go to DH's company party next weekend. The Uncles said DS can hang out at their house, so we don't have to worry about that. I just have to find some sort of formal wear that's not too tight. I don't want to wear the same thing I wore last year (which is my own personal issue - nobody else will remember what I wore last year). I do think the outfit I wore last year still fits though, so I might not have a choice. I don't imagine there is much formal wear on clearance this time of year since we are headed into the holidays, and I have PLENTY, it just doesn't fit. :sad2:

Marci - I hope you don't freeze at the game tonight! :wizard:

I am really on the fence about DS going to that football game. DH is going to pick him up after school so we can assess his condition. If he feels horrible or if he is feverish then he is NOT going to that game and the band director better not penalize him.

There are no dumb questions, silly! :teeth:

When the cake comes out of the oven, there are some gaps all around the sides of the pan. You pour the glaze into all those little nooks and crannies and when you flip the cake out 30 minutes later, the glaze will have sunk into the top and sides.

This cake is even more yummy the next day, so I tend to make it a day before serving. This is about the only alcohol I've consumed in five years! :rotfl:
Maybe if you start consuming more, Noah would sleep better. ;)

This is the only Halloween picture I had on photobucket,

Brandon's makeup was pretty smeared by the time I took the picture
Brandon looks great! Well, they all do!

Oh man, I'm so not ready for this.

Sorry, but this just cracks me up! :rotfl2:

Just wait. Yours is coming. I don't know when, and I don't know exactly what it will be, but yours is coming. ;) When you least expect it, the activity from hades will pop up and surprise you. :scared1:

I keep reminding myself it is better than the indoor pool! :rolleyes1

we have snow, 3" and its still coming down. :headache: :sad2:

It's on its way here next :sad2:

:wizard: :wizard: That you house sells quickly and for a great price:wizard: :wizard:

Noooooooooooo way!!! :rotfl2: I hate snow! The only time I want to see snow is Christmas time. If I didn't have to drive around in it maybe I would like it.
Only when it's falling on me while watching MVMCP parade on Main Street, or checking out the Osborne Lights.

Just don't burn the place down! ;)

I took the boys to school this morning. Colby had 4 display boxes of shells, coral, rocks and sea sponge that we collected at Vero Beach and Fort Lauderdale. He also had a couple baggies of shells that he could give to his classmates. We also had a couple of coconuts, one split open, for the kids to look at. When we had dinner at T-Rex we bought and opened a Geode so he brought that in too. They were doing a hike at 10 am and asked me to come back to chaperone, but it is too cold out there for me, at least the way I was dressed. I had to run to pick up a couple of prescriptions for Nick's acne anyway. By the time I got home it was too late to change and get there before the start of the hike.

Soon after I walked in the school called and asked me to sub on Thursday morning. I accepted. Maybe I will get more subbing shifts now and that might make up for the slowdown at AJ's. Of course we are supposed to get a slushy snow mixture with an inch accumulation by tomorrow morning. The snow is supposed to continue through Thursday morning with "significant" accumulations possible:rolleyes: I'm not ready for this. If we do get a lot I would bet that school will be cancelled. It also means that I need to drag out winter coats and boots tonight. Hopefully they still fit.

Just don't burn the place down! ;)

The kids don't work with anything hot - the ovens, burners, etc. are all in a separate area. They just do the prep work. The biggest kitchen fire I have ever had involved a gas stove and Jiffy Pop. I don't think class will include those things, but you never know. :rolleyes1

Tell me about it.
Hope DS feels better. :wizard:

Thanks! :)

Ick! Good luck with the weather AND the boys' gear!
We are absolutely scrambling with DS not having any warm clothes that fit. Combined with the stupid dress code I am afraid he might freeze. I bought him 3 pairs of uniform pants at Children's Place yesterday, and I am going to Gap for long sleeved polos today. He also needs some undershirts, so hopefully Gap has those, too.

Elizabeth. When I ran into Kmart today they had their summer clearance going on. I found a pair of Jeans for myself for $6. I didn't want to invest in larger sizes either, but for $6 I can be warm and comfy until I shed a few lbs. I also got a couple of belts and a pair of bermuda shorts for 99 cents each.

YIKES!!! Beautiful pictures, but I'm with everyone else. I'm just not ready.

Tia just stay right here, its just pretty much trivial the last (what?) 50 pages. Unless of course you wish to see all the wonderful pictures Amy and a few others posted.

The hints of pictures was the only thing tempting me to try, but I don't think I'll make it back there any time soon. Just too much going as usual plus trying to keep up in the present.

Ugh! Hope you feel better soon! And I hope you get a working dryer again before the laundry piles up! :wizard:

Thanks! The Sudafed is helping. Since it is now the weekdays and Dad won't listen to Mom or I suggesting that it's the thermostat, it will probably be at least Sat before we have a working dryer. And that is where it is beneficial that Kristi lives a mile away. Plus, Mom or I are babysitting her kids 2 other afternoons this week since Rachel is making a haunted house with her firends so we'll be there anyway.

Thanks!

The rain is coming down so hard here..sounds like someone is pouring buckets on my house.

Yuck. That's almost worse than the snow depending on your temps. Good luck with the house!

:lmao:

Deb - did you like T Rex? I've been hearing that its extremely loud - but really how was the food??

Well I went out and shoveled, its a very heavy snow. :headache: I am finally getting the feeling back in my fingers.

Good morning, DDA!

I hope that everyone is staying warm today. It's a little chilly here for now, but should hopefully warm up along the way. I've got Kaylin and the baby today. After Mom gets home we've got to hit the Girl Scout Shop and party store. Then this afternoon we're carving pumpkins and Terra's GS Investiture Ceremony is tonight.

Don't forget your free tacos today! Free crunchy taco per person at Taco Bell between 2 and 6, local time, due to the stolen base in the World Series.
