Chanon & Anne Marie TWO WEEKS from today we will be heading to Disney :dance3:

Good Morning,

I've been trying to dig through the mess that they left me at work, I keep telling myself to just keep truckin', I'll get through it eventually.

I have to have some blood work done this morning before I go in, it's fasting and I don't think I can make it all day with nothing, :rotfl: . Nothing serious just routine.

Hope you had a wonderful birthday Chris.

Hi Paula, long time no see.

Denise, I hope that Rees is doing much better, and that the little one is no longer suffering, so sad.

Hi Bernadette, cute doll clothes, my mom used to make me Barbie clothes, I had the best dressed Barbies in town.

To all of you dealing with the weight issues, I feel your pain, just take it one day at a time and if you slip let it go and continue on.

Paula - It was good to read you this morning! Your kids are adorable, as usual. I hope your DSD finally realizes how much you all love her and tried to provide a good home for her. Two jobs is a hard thing. I only did it for about 6 months a few years ago. I hope you don't have to do it much longer.

Denise - I hope this morning finds Rees doing better. That poor little baby... I hope her pain ends soon too.

Elin, you really need to get out of Epcot once in awhile. Or else get some grandchildren. :teeth: :lmao:

:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: Well, DD is not someplace we normally go! I don't particularly like to shop there, so...

But Bob and I have an ADR for Raglan Road one night next month so maybe we will mosey on over to Goofy's and see what little snack we can take back to the room for late night munching! :thumbsup2

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
CHRIS

That was perfect, Miss Tammi! :rotfl2:

I made a huge mistake today. I had a headache and thought I took some ibuprophen, when actually it was Tylenol PM. Needless to say it ended in a 2 hour nap. It was tough staying awake through Colby's appt.

Chris' sister just called and his mother is in the ER again. Breathing issues. Due to her size and the fact that she smokes she is not in good health. I think they suspect pneumonia. They will call when they know more. His niece is also in the hospital. I guess she was admitted yesterday for migranes and a high white blood cell count. She is 19 years old.

:grouphug: for Chris! I hope his Mom and niece get to go home soon.

This is what I did Sunday afternoon. I made a nightgown for Lizzy's doll that we got at a yard sale-she's a "Just Like You" doll that she has named Kristen. She also has Molly so I made both dolls robes and I made a robe for Halley who is getting Kit for Christmas.

Good job on those! :thumbsup2

I think we all forgot to wish Mickey and Minnie a Happy Birthday today

I forgot to say something on here, that's for sure. But in honor of Mickey's birthday I bought something for me! :rotfl:

Elin - did you go enjoy half-priced Tapas tonight?

Bernadette - great new creations.

The field trip was a lot of fun, and very educational as well. I think the kids might have actually learned a few things. The wind was brutal, especially down near the water. I might post a few pictures later.

Sadly, I did not enjoy those yummy things tonight. I could have made a meal out of their offerings!

I had some students who were on the field trip yesterday too, and they loved it. They especially loved the :cool2: buses. :rotfl:

Bernadette the doll clothes are cute!

Deb & Vicki I have gained as well. But that is how it has been for me my whole life, up & down. I love to eat & unfortunately it is the stuff that is not so good for us. So as my clothes get tighter I will gripe & grumble & finally one day I will say enough. This is so two sided for me, I love it when I am smaller but I hate that I have to watch everything I eat. On the other hand I get upset with myself when I gain, but at the same time I really enjoy the foods I am choosing to eat. I just haven't found a happy balance yet & at 46 years old I am not sure I ever will. So for me it will always be a battle.
Im the same way with weight..plus, i have no thyroid now, so that affects it as well.. There are times that i have no appetite at all, but gain weight like crazy...then there are times im eating everything in sight and i still lose weight...Its so frustrating

I was absolutely exhausted last night..i was in bed and asleep by 930 and just now woke up--i love it! i decided i am not going into school early today --im all caught up and then some so no need. Luckily, i do not have anything major i have to do after school today so i think ill come back to relax some more...im feeling really run down and refuse t get sick before dallas in one week :)

Yep, for kids who've never ridden Magical Express, charter buses are waayyyyy cool.

If you don't mind, PM me the kids that went. I'm interested to see if Nicholas or I know them.

Bernadette,
Great doll outfits!!!!

Tammi,
Glad the kids had fun. We have to get to Mt Vernon some day. Silly question but did you happen to notice if they sell George Washington costumes there? Dana wants to be GW for next Halloween at Disney. I am not going to be Martha as she was older than him & rather large!:lmao: Maybe Betsy Ross for me!

Deb,
I think we all go through periods that we just want to indulge & we do. Then something clicks in our heads & we manage to stay on track for awhile. I have been struggling too but not very successful. Racing around with the kids & working pt make it hard to "get my life on track" too because there is just so much to do. Healthy eating takes planning & right now that seems to take a backseat to everything else I have going on right now. I hope to join a 2009 DDA weight loss journey with you all as the support here is wonderful.

Denise,
:wizard: for Rees.

   for everyone!

::yes:: Both of John's parents are deceased and once his mom was gone his siblings barley speak to each other now.
So there is no gift exchanges there, and my extended family decided just to buy for the kids as the adults don't need anything. So that just leaves 6 kids, my mom and sister.

Heidi-WOW-all done???
