I've never used it before either. I know that Kodak Gallery can be quite slow sometimes. Maybe I should have started tonight. Oh well...I'll just plan the whole day tomorrow.

I still haven't decided which book to do, but I'm thinking it will be our "out West" trip.

I used the West theme, I liked the look of the pages. I used pictures of the boys from our August trip, can't wait to see it!

I then went to the car and called back a job lead....more than 200 people had applied for this job and I have one of the few interview spots. :cool1: I told her that I just gave my resignation and that I needed to give my current employer the 40 hours a week for the next 2 weeks. She scheduled me in for a 5:30 interview.

Not sure if this will help as every person is different. When we went this past Jan. I wore shorts everyday but one, and I wore pants at night.

Last year I wore a jacket at night & sweatshirt or long sleeve during the day. I was able to wear shorts once I think.

I am going to keep an eye on the weather to decide what to pack. I will be waiting till the last minute lol

I do know I will be bringing my Tinkerbell stocking cap :yay:

I did calendars for my parents and in-laws one year from Kodak Gallery. I didn't really get much feedback on those. Maybe I'll do one for my parents again, though.

I have done a calendar for mil for the past 3 years. I was planning on giving her this book instead, but Gary wants me to still give her a calendar as well. I just received my confirmation from Snapfish & I received 20% off of calendars good for 9 days. So I guess I will make her a calendar as well!

Boy that was a lot of calendars in that reply :rotfl:

I had to quote at least one thing.

Terry I remember you posting that you and Stephanie will probably be at Mouse Fest next year too. Are the dates the same as this year? If you both will be at WDW next December when I go (13-18) I would love to meet, even if its just a hello in passing.

My dermatologist tortured me for a while today, but I had everything snipped/frozen off that needs to be for a while. The biopsy on the growth on my side should be back in a week or two, but I'm not worried about it.

Conferences for both kids went excellent today. I mentioned that Andrew's homework had gotten out of hand again, and the teachers seemed to understand. We'll see. I am so thankful for that school! :goodvibes

Hope it was not to painful

Glad the school conferences went well!

So I handed in my resignation and didn't cry until I got out of the office and it wasn't because I am going to miss the office it was because I was so frustrated.:headache: Richard kept telling me it was all about yesterday and that he wouldn't do anything about it until Monday....to take the weekend to think about it. He wasn't hearing that it wasn't yesterday that this was a long time coming. I don't think he heard me when he said it was just about working somewhere else and I said no, it's wanting to work someplace where my talents are utilized and respected.

Sorry he did not take you seriously

Everyone's picture books from Snapfish sound terrific! I have gotten them from there before and we have always enjoyed them.

There is no way I was going to try to do something that computer/internet intensive with my desktop. My little 6 year old HP is chugging right along, but some days she is a little slow (like today!).

My laptop is still in the HP/Compaq hospital. Not only does it get a new wireless card but they have to replace my motherboard too. Whereas some might complain, I in fact am delighted. My laptop is about 3-4 years old and I think this will give it some new life!

I do have a rant (surprise, surprise). When I originally sent the laptop back I was given a return delivery date of 7-10 business days. That would have been today or Monday. Yesterday I came home to this very long voice message that I could not understand at all. It took listening to it 4 times (I am not exaggerating here!) to finally discern the following two words: El-een and notebook. Then I knew it was for me and was probably about my laptop.

The woman on the phone spoke such poor English that I almost deleted the message. It is abysmal that companies allow this to happen. I called HP and after 5 minutes of voice prompts finally got a CS rep with the same lack of English skills. Can any of us believe that in these economic times an American company cannot find people who speak English to answer these calls? Their excuses in the past have been that Americans demand too high a salary and it is cheaper to outsource CS and tech support overseas. BALONEY! I don't care where someone lives or who answers the phone or makes a phone call to my home, I expect to be able to understand them.

If Old Bessy here is up for the challenge I think we will surf around the HP site a little to see if I can send a letter to someone. I do actually have a phone number for my case manager who is in Canada. He speaks English and might be able to help me! :headache:

Elizabeth - I hope you are able to get to the principal easily to explain your concerns and fears. That is a serious incident and I think you should have been notified. Middle school sucks and this is just one of the reasons. :(

Ditto, I hope you get this resolved!

Good morning Elin and Tammi,

Today is our last full day :sad1: , it's Magic Kingdom again with dinner at OHana.

The last day is the worst, I always wish I could stay forever.

Enjoy yourselves & dinner at Ohana!

Thanks, Elin & everyone!
Now he is saying he doesn't want me to call. I am still going to call because I want them to be aware that there was an issue. If something else happens I want to be able to tell them it isn't the first time, and they were previously notified that there was a problem. DS doesn't want to be called out of class to talk about it. Turns out he has this kid in 4 of his classes, and that ONE incident is the only problem DS has ever had with him. Hmm.

Good morning Elin and Tammi,

Today is our last full day :sad1: , it's Magic Kingdom again with dinner at OHana.

Trips fly by way too fast, don't they? Enjoy your day at MK! :goodvibes

I am sorry I can't do any more then send

I managed to get to bed and be asleep by 9:15pm but was wide awake at 2:30. I did manage to get about another hour or so from 5:30 til 6:30 but I am still so tired, so much so I feel sick to my stomach. Thank goodness I've recruited 2 friends to stay and help out with the sleepover tonight.

Hope you feel better as the day goes on :wizard:

Glad you have help for the sleepover!

I have very little patience these days, so if the site is still slow and wonky today, I won't have a free book.

I had no problems this morning Beth! But as the day goes on it might get busy again. Good luck & I hope you are able to take advantage of the offer!

It will be just the three of us for Thanksgiving this year. So I am not planning on doing a lot of cooking to make it work! I would love to order a fried turkey breast somewhere, or buy it already cooked and ready to reheat. I would then add my own sides and desserts. Does anyone know of an online place to get a good deep fried turkey breast? Or, Tammi - do you know of anywhere local that has them available?

Elin - Sorry about the laptop! What a pain!
I have had to struggle with tech support for our internet/e-mail service before and it was ugly. I had one guy insist that he would ONLY talk to DH, even though the service and the credit card paying the account were in MY name! Luckily we cancelled one of those accounts and the other one is just an annual charge of $10 so I don't have to call them very often. I guess when the credit card it bills to expires we will cancel that one, too!
