Theresa, I hope the perfect job comes your way soon!

You hadn't heard "under the bus" before? One of the girls I knew from a former job used to say that.
I am sorry some of you are already having such cold weather!

It has cooled off a little bit here, but it's not cold. There was just some sort of freak downpour but it only lasted about 30 seconds. Now it's not raining at all. Weird!
Tia - Love all the pics of Terra! She is so cute!
Robyn - The mom across the street was just saying the other day how her older DD is constantly in her younger one's face. I had that problem at my last job, too. One of ExMomboss's friends had a DS who was always in Brother's face - it drove me NUTS!

Luckily that kid wasn't around very often. Princess is on the fence about babies. She likes to talk about them, but if one is actually around she can take it or leave it. DS was never really interested, either. He likes babies well enough, but he has never felt the need to get in their faces.
Hopefully your sister, your niece, and the baby will find a balance within the first few weeks. I don't think I knew they used to live with you.
DS is supposed to get a math progress report today. Not sure what good it will do since there are only 5 days left in the grading period, but whatever. I guess that eliminates a surprise on report card day. I REALLY miss being able to see his grades online.
I am confused on the stupid Science Fair stuff. The packet that was due last week VERY CLEARLY stated that a "research plan" was to be attached. It is an outline/overview of what steps you plan to take to complete the project. Hmm. OK, fine. But the teacher e-mailed me and said no, she just needed to have the signed packet returned - no research plan. The original packet (which is the same thing we got last year) says you must have a research PAPER, as in, a paper where you research some aspect of your project and write about it. These are NOT the same thing. The research PLAN and the research PAPER are completely separate entities with completely different descriptions, but the science teacher is new and I think she isn't seeing the distinction. Something is due Wednesday, but I am not clear on WHAT.
