Speaking of soup...
I bought some of that V-8 Campbell's soup. The butternut squash one. DO NOT buy this if you are expecting it to taste like the Boma version. It doesn't taste like squash, or pumpkin, or spices. It tastes like celery. Which would be OK if one was fond of celery. I am not fond of celery, so I won't be buying that soup again.

so concludes our first dinner. We also had pressed pot coffee.

Very nice meal. We didn't stay for the fireworks. We were exhausted and took a cab home from the GF.

Holy cow! I got to Vicki's warning about senseless dribble and skipped all the way to here. If there is something that I need to know, please let me. We had a fun day, went to Luray Caverns, where we had a terrible guide, then drove along Skyline Drive. We stopped at a few overlooks and took some pictures, hike on a mile and a half trail, had dinner at Skyland, and I FINALLY saw a black bear in the wild! I have been looking for them for years up there. Now I can cross that off of my Bucket List.

So somebody started copying my trip report onto another trip board, not on the DIS. I had never been there before, but someone who saw it there let me know. What is this world coming to? It had my name in the title, but why would someone do that?

I have always been leery about posting trip reports and pictures and now I am not sure if I will continue doing so.

Between this, and someone's car being broken in at my company parking lot to steal their GPS, I just do not understand people.

You have got to be kidding!!!!! ***?????????

We have a Dyson bagless that we love. We got ours at Shopko which is a Wisconsin based company.

I still have more meals to plan. However, those were the places that we had decided we wanted to eat. I'm happy that we got decent meal times. Good thing I found out that they were open already. Chuck really wants to eat at LeCellier. We didn't get to eat there during our March or June trip.
