What was the strangest gift you've ever received?

One year for Christmas my father and siblings gave me a step stool and one of those reacher-grabber things. I am 5'4" tall. My Dad was 6'3" and my brother is 6'4" and my sister is 6' tall. They thought they were so funny.

I still use both items!!

I keep reading reports of how bad OKW is, and tonight I found a thread about the extremely high crowds levels.

Debbie - We LOVED OKW and didn't mind the size of the resort. I figure since we were there over Christmas we have a good idea of it at its most crowded. If we were to ever buy DVC points it would be a resale for there.

Well they've just made a press release so I guess I can talk about it. During a water rescue training exercise, an officer went under and hasn't been seen since about 2:45 this afternoon. This happened in Pohick Bay, an offshoot of the Potomac River. An extensive search is continuing, but hope is waning. Please keep him and his family in your prayers. He has a wife and 3 children. I'm going to watch the news and see if they have anything on yet.
